Sounds like a good problem to have though, guess that's evidence you're getting out of the entrepreneurial start-up stage and moving to the next stage of a business.
What cute puppy :3 <3
yikes. managing people is probably the most difficult aspect of your job. since it's not just one personality, but multiple personalities. each one different from the next. they all have their own experience, concerns, troubles, egos; it's honestly such a pain to round up people for a common goal and motivate them to work towards it. and this is just coming from a guy who plays internet team games, lol!
I quess, hah I'm sure to be proper use for You and fit in this position good; looking at my edu, skills, experience & willingness to reach for more each time. IDK bout my life here, only Japan matters. Call me Mr.Danny Choo I'm all Yours, let the force be with CJ:P (+48)697840242 hah dreams

Let me add these:
Well done Danny san, you got great team and a great leader ( you ) ( ^-^ )~
that is why being able to speak English is a must in the business world...if you can speak third language like Japanese, Korean, Chinese or French, then it will be your strength in the business world
you should just hire someone who have operation management skill to manage your team...
care for a guy from indonesia? not just me, but from around 250millions soul, we have a vast amount of people searching jobs like this. not to mention working in "Mirai Project" is a dream comes true for indon otakus ^^
having a team that can help you manage your work
Please to be create hairpiece for intelligence doll of colour brown shiny. Ordering numbers 1000 items by month 5 of following year. Confirmation please doing.
Danny you're such a creative thinker, I'm sure you'll improve everything somehow.
Google Translate...lol Most of these translation sites and even some programs cannot successfully translate any of the idiosyncrasies of most languages, especially when translating some of the harder languages like Japanese into English and I'm sure, Korean to English is just as bad lol
So yeah, networking is going to be much harder with a language barrier limiting potential business growth in foreign markets. And as an entrepreneur like yourself fully know these markets can provide a huge potential for business and cannot be ignored.
Join you when i have the chance ... ;)
Well I read a lot about business owners because when I grow up I want to be one.. #Humor But some trends I've noticed with certain business is they remain a certain size so they can keep things in perspective and they just work on cashflow... and quality. They literally choose to remain a certain size instead of just getting "bigger and bigger" So that is always an option.
Networking is the most powerful marketing key to sustain success the operation of company, but also be more challenging than ever. ganbatte Danny-san!!
don't get an m.b.a, it stands for Masters at Being ssholes
You should do a job opening position on your website and list down the qualifications. This would help build interest and im one of them
There really is a small talent pool for people who would fit the role of an Operations Officer. It's always a toss-up between hiring internally and grow talent in-house, or hire someone externally but would take the time to appreciate what the business is all about...
I feel you man, and it never is easy building a dream. Here's to keeping the dream alive! XD
danny, please ask your dad! how he manage the company
Sociologist, in Tokyo on a WH visa, would be glad to be of help =)
Need help? Call 999 for further help
Would you employ someone from the UK or is this only for Japanese residents?
Is fluent Japanese required?
Thank you :)
<<=== management . Owner/manager . BJD collector.. Artist ... Need a job in Japan !!
As my team continues to grow, the thing I struggle with the most is managing so many people. We have a great team of folks with ninja execution skills but I currently lack folks with people management skills.
Ideally I would have somebody who can run operations while I work on growing the business - it continues to be challenging doing both.
Networking has been key to building the company but I have not been doing as much as I should what with the hands-on production. I have been delegating as much work as possible but there are still some things I need to handle - for example I'm the only one who can speak Korean in the company which I use to work with some of our vendors who work on our apparel and wigs - Google Translate just does not cut it ^^
Great post Danny! Thanks for sharing!
I'm amazed that the E-GO has regenerative braking! It's really like a Prius :)
I currently commute using a regular longboard (http://www.longboardhub.com) and really find it painful to get uphill... Maybe it's time for me to get one of these electric skateboards :)
That's the Stair-Rover. Danny has had that for a little while now, and its always impressed me that he got hold of one before they were ready for launch. They had the best kickstarter videos I'd seen for any skateboard. He's getting a neat collection of boards now. Guess the popularity of them is growing in Japan these days too.
Going back only a few years, it was hard to find store retailers for skateboards in Japan.
Ouch, that is wet. I stopped riding my electric board in the rain ages ago just due to the hazard of how slick everything becomes. It gets depressing to have to revert to walking on foot, but it avoids the standard skateboard injury you showed. Hope that heals up quick.
So every time anything remotely green tea flavored comes up you're going to tag me? -.- I think something like Oreos is going too far anyway. Not my style.
Nazo Kiyoubinbou you would probably like these :p
Just like 7-11, I can't find those in Kurayoshi!!
My Mirai is waiting to board a flight to Canada. She is stuck in her travel crate until we get home though.
I'm using Sony Experia too, by the way.
Soiya! Orange Arms: Hanamichi on Stage!
nice shot! would love to get into photography. Can you send me that camera? Im too poor lol
Matcha is great !!!! <3
Note: the IMPORT TAX was ¥30,000 -- the printer cost is US$3,500.
Yamato, Kongou sisters, Fubuki. Love ALL kancolle
A7ii in body stabilisation is pretty badass, especially for low light.
What are your favourite lenses Danny?
I love matchá <3 matcha chokoreto, matcha oreos, matcha candy, matcha ice cream... Yumi!!
Everything otaku! Anime and figures especially. Just loves to listen to Hikara, loads up figure news and read anime reviews.
Good luck to all participants!
And good luck to Danny-kun! Hope to see the new and improved DannyChoo.com soon! ^^
I'm guessing this is the day that the figma Mirai will be released, Danny-kun? ^^
Anyways, can't go to Japan to attend the event. But I take it that I will enjoy reading your post on it soon enough!
I've read rave reviews of the D5000 and I'm impressed by the shots that you've taken, Danny! Maybe pumping up the ISO too high on the Haruhi shot was something not intended, but even by standards it looks good. You did mention that you didn't know how to use the camera correctly, yet the results are stunning.
The one thing I lack in my DSLR is the live view function. At first I'm okay with it, but a time grew I began to wonder why didn't I invest on one which has. Well, there's always next time...
Hope to see more Tokyo shots with the new cam! ^^
Kagamin is like an absolute must for both Miku and Kagami fans. Look at that O.O face...priceless.
Now here's the thing: is this more adorable than the Nendoroid? Hmm...
Nice... really looks good. Understandably she'll be more expensive due to the crafty design! Love it!
Thanks for the info on this! ^^;
What better way to intro yourself than doing the trademark Stormtropper Tokyo Dance! Love it!
By the way, is the word "lising" on purpose or a typo, Danny? ^^;
Nice... Veteran Otaku here! ^w^
I just don't understand why do parents treat their children this way. I mean, can't they work for themselves instead of doing silly and hideous things like this?
Lifetime in jail, in my opinion!
Our friendly neigbourhood tenrou has provided a how-to on making an account on Nico-Nico.
*digs through tenrou's News item*
here it is: http://www.dannychoo.com/detail/mac/eng/image/13844/Tenrou%27s+How+To+-+Nico+Nico+Douga.html
I bet tenrou would be really happy about this new implementation. He will jump for joy with the amount of Miku vids he provides week-in, week-out!
*awaits tenrou's next Miku batch, and first Weekly Miku with Nico Nico vids*
It's more like, Danny will appear as her father! ^^
Well, I've already commented on Twitter, but I guess I'll say it again here. Now with more space to write! ^^
Full feeds is always better is for those who don't want to wait for the site to download the info that they want to read. It's easier for the to just read what they want on a RSS Reader. But, like you pointed out, it's a two-edged thing. It deprives slightly on the traffic side.
Let's look at it this way: wouldn't it drive traffic to the site if the person reading would like to comment? I guess either way, for DannyChoo.com, comments are bound to be everywhere (especially when you have the Miku-lover tenrou around) ^^ !
This has got to be one of the worst bootleg ever!
The public buses that goes to the main city of Kuala Lumpur always gets packed in the afternoon. Less breathing space...
The train service here is a shame as well. Even though everyone is supposed to lineup to allow outgoing passengers to disembark first, ignorance is bliss among them. I remember getting pushed when I was supposed to go out at my destination and have to take another train back to where I wanted to go...which was 5 stations away! ToT
There are cases where it does get that crowded. I remember getting packed during after working hours (5-6pm) in KL Sentral, and during Independence Day!
Get well soon, Danny! A Malaysian nurse will arrive ther at precisely 6pm Malaysian time! >.<
Nice pics as usual, Danny! Great shoot. Meaning to ask you, do you use a macro lens for the shoots, or the standard lens (18-55mm)?
By the way, more news from Japan would be great! Most of us don't really go to Japan much, and figures are widely covered here by most of the members. Your take on Japan lifestyle is a joy to read!
you should see reviews on Gundam 00 and CLANNAD. all of them got terrible ratings...which really make me question their reviews.
not to mention Yuki, Shana and Ren's eyes too! XD
many eyes...many winking eyes...! No no...must...resist...
*clicks* ARGH....now I'm a 2D-Girl Fan!!!! Thanks to Danny for the conversion!
every morning, afternoon, evening and night!
still like to mix around my emoticons. but now, most of my friends use the Japanese emoticons. Well, it's getting popular imo!
was just starting to get interested in figures, so I Googled my resources. Then I bumped into here...
The rest, as they say, is history.
okay...so your dad is THE Jimmy Choo! Congrats, man! He made our country proud, and now you have made your name as well! You have fulfilled your wish and you're happy about it!
How I wish I want to be as successful as you. I'll look up to you as a role model that is successful outside in Japan. Maybe my future kids can write about you! ^^
Good luck on your future success, Danny! Hopefully, I get to meet you in person as well! ^^
Most of the stuff I watched/watching is like, popular. Code Geass and Macross are two of those.
Some others I watched based on storyline, like Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu and Kyaoran Kazoku Nikki!
Oh, CCCP for Windows, SMPlayer for Ubuntu!
