A post about papercraft by member ibr_remote over at figure.fm prompted me to look up more about this hobby.
Most of the papercrafting seems to be done with a software called Pepakura Designer. Looks like you can load data from any of the following formats and Pepakura Designer will then create the cutouts for your model ready to be printed @.@
Wavefront
AutoCAD
Metasequoia
3DS Max
Lightwave
STL
Google Earth4
Collada

Wonder if Ionized would be up to distributing the 3D data for the Figma Mirai that he made many moons ago?
