As you have read in the past, groping on the trains in Japan has become such a common problem that some women are using this situation to their advantage by accusing innocent men of touching them - the main aim to get the settlement money from the victim.

Under Japanese law, if one is caught groping, the fine is 50,000 yen.
This is bad because gropers think they can cop a feel and may think "its only 50000 yen."
This is also bad because innocent men are being the subject of extortion. If a woman makes an accusation that you touched her, there is absolutely nothing that you can do as the police wont believe that you are innocent.
