Hey All, Been a busy few days. Seem to be constantly filming stuff and just got back from Shibuya from more filming - this shot taken today by Hector. Been also rather busy with the GSC site launch and now frantically working to beef up features and reflect your feedback into the site. Will be off to a GSC party tonight at Ueno - over a hundred folks from the anime, game and figure industry will be there which means more yummy stuff for you too ^^; Tough schedule but loadsa fun. I just wanted to say a big thank you for being around the community even though I don't get to participate as much as I would like. Will still be posting News Items everyday and if I do miss an article then the max is only going to be a day. dccom is constantly open in a tab and I do wizz through the puchi blurbs, news items and comments but sometimes only have time to leave a puchi blurb. Its been a fantastic year so far and the rest of the year is gong to be a great too. Hope you stick around with me for more. Love you all and thanks again.

Some great change I see here! Would like to see more and will post some of my "before and after" workspace photos soon. Original text from Alfisti below.
Been meaning to upload this here for a couple of months now. You can probably tell by the calender setting. Anyway, my work/recreation/study/near on everything else corner. The top image was taken two years back, and the bottom is pretty much the current configuration (minus a new external HDD and some more merch I picked up). Two years of changing interests, amazing what it can do.

I really really really regret not ordering this gorgeous figure of Alice. Searched on all the online stores in Japan - all sold out. The next think to do is to trek around Akihabara ToT. What do you do when you missed out on a gorgeous figure? Do you pay extra at the auctions or travel to other cities to look for it? Original text from super rats below.
Got Queen's Gate Alice (nsfw) in yesterday. It's an awesome figure and a lot of fun to take pictures of too.

Nice! The quality of Daiki Kougyo seems to be getting better and better. More pics at Hobby Search. And just a reminder to all who are posting news items - either quote the source of your image (state "forgot" if you don't know) or don't be surprised if your post is deleted - I just want to make sure we credit others for borrowing their material - its the correct and polite way of doing things on teh Internets. Original text from GundamJehutyKai below.
Not sure if this has been posted yet... After the massive popularity of the Bubba bunny haruhi kit a few years back, we were suddenly flooded with lots of bunny Haruhi figures and garage kits from various groups. Some good and some not so good. One of the best though, was a kit made by the group called cobra-Kai. And guess what? Years after the initial release (I think the resin kit is 2 years old or so) You're getting a PVC of it, courtesy of Daiki Kougyo! Due for release in December So, Who's going to try and make a little extra space for her?

Japan - the place where you can pay 1,000 yen and get to research the eyes of an AV girl... Personally not for me but who here is game? Original text from thedegeneric below.
Feel Up AV Stars for AIDS Research - http://www.tokyoreporter.com/2008/09/03/adult-video-broadcaster-holds-24-hour-haids-telethon/ TOKYO - It is a recent Sunday afternoon inside the offices of adult video broadcaster Paradise TV. Two enthusiastic female voices can be heard counting from behind a pair of covered booths: “Ichi, ni, san, shi, go!” The entry flap of one booth is labeled with the kanji character pronounced ushiro (behind) and colored pink, the other is yellow and marked oppai (breast). Outside is a line of five men, each of whom is eagerly awaiting his turn to grab (with both hands) the bare buttocks and breasts of two adult video (AV) actresses five times for 1,000 yen - with all the proceeds being used for research to prevent the spread of the HIV virus and AIDS. “I am so proud to have been selected for such a worthy cause,” says the curvy Aya Natsuki, 25, a veteran of roughly 50 AV films who ceded each of her buns for 100 yen per squeeze. “As well, this is an opportunity for me to communicate much more directly with my fans.” Each year Paradise TV, a channel which specializes in wacky porn programming, holds its annual “24-Hour TV: Eroticism Saves the Earth” fund drive to raise money for the prevention of AIDS, a condition that continues to be a worsening problem in Japan. Last year, donations totaled 2 million yen. Paradise expects this year to see a 50% increase in pledges, which have come from as far as away as North Carolina. Satellite provider SKY PerfecTV, which hosts Paradise broadcasts, and the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention are supporters. In February, the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare reported that the number of new infections of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, reached a record high of 1,048 in 2007. The ministry’s AIDS Surveillance Committee revealed that the number of cases of AIDS over the same period reached 400. The total number of 1,448 represented an increase over the year before for the fifth consecutive year.

Anime Sequels http://www.dannychoo.com/detail/mac/eng/image/7178/Anime+Sequels.html http://www.dannychoo.com/detail/mac/eng/image/7178/Anime+Sequels.html
Another interesting anime topic to talk about - sequels. The Minamike Okawari wasn't really a sequel for me as it was a totally different production studio (I think) even though the seiyuu were the same. So yes - more of Minamike is good especially if its the first production studio working on it. Would be interesting to see a Cowboy Bebop sequel but its such a classic that maybe it should be left as be. I also want more of Solid State Society. A terrible sequel would be DieBuster - sequel to GunBuster. What anime would you choose to have a sequel and what sequels do you think should never have been made? Original text from BandAiD below.
I'm sure for a number of people here, there is an anime that hold a special place in their heart, be it for any reason, such as maybe the experiences in it were similar to what you had experienced, so you could connect to it on a level? Perhaps it was just something that could just make you smile no matter what. Let's say hypothetically you were an executive for numerous different TV stations, and had the power solely to green-light anime to go into production. Thinking hard about it, you decide to go with a sequel to an existing anime. What anime would you choose? Why? Now for some people, just because you might have favorite anime A, doesn't mean you'd want to see a continuation of it because it just may be perfect as it is. I'd personally would love to see ARIA continue, yes it's true it had 3 seasons, but 3 amazing seasons at it. The end of ORIGINATION did a wonderful job of tying things up, but you can't help but wonder what happens after that, especially a long running one like ARIA, you kind of almost feel like you're part of the family, and when they go away you miss them. What anime would you choose to have a sequel for, and why? Image from Gelbooru which features the main character of ARIA.

Your Bag http://www.dannychoo.com/detail/mac/eng/image/7185/Your+Bag.html http://www.dannychoo.com/detail/mac/eng/image/7185/Your+Bag.html
We've done the "Your Room", "Your Desktop" and before we move onto "Your GF/BF" its time to do the "Your Bag" - post em using the uploader. But I thought I should be explicit just in case - bags that you normally carry around and not any bags attached to your body. I personally dislike carrying around bags and usually just wear the pouch that you see in the photo - its got two hooks that latch onto the belt loops around me trousers. In it I usually have the iPod touch, business card holder and mobile phone. I took this photo when I got back from the Chara Hobby. Only would bring the bag about when I need to carry the SLR or MacBook Pro. And I do try to carry around a figure with me - figma or nendoroid. The iPod touch is great for when I'm out n about stuck somewhere. Its currently stocked full of gurenn lagann, clannad, sky girls and nogizaka haruka which I still need to catch up on ^^; I also use the notepad to write posts from time to time. So lets see the goodies and gadgets in your bag - tag posts with "yourbag"

Your parents/friends cant really say what a perv you are for owning one because you say "yeah well I didnt pay for it - it came free with a magazine. No point in throwing it away." Not only is the mousepad great to look at, it can relieve stress by giving it a squeeze and is also good for maintaining good posture of your wrist. Hmmm, I can think of another use of an oppai mousepad but better not mention it (dolphin health care). The Magazine in question is Dengeki G's Festival.
