I wanted a flickr account to host my Tokyo pics, but was put off about getting a Yahoo ID just to join.
I settled with Photobox in the end - it resizes your pics a fair bit for public viewing, but they print all sorts of stuff too and the quality is fantastic. Ive already ordered 3 hardback photobooks of my Tokyo photos.

Mirei looks cool as a maid - not an awful lot more work since the last sketch as far as i can see though :-/

I stand corrected - just looked at the older sketches to remind me. Theres much more detail now!

Lol, I have 3 flickr accounts now because I don't want to purchase the unlimited account. Plus I don't want to get rid of all the pics, mostly the anime ones, for it took time to get just the right pose for most of them. I don't mind either, I setup multiple yahoo accounts for various reasons, personal, business, games, etc.

flickr is pretty neat, i think, for a free photos storage space. i use it for my blog photos.

I recently created a new flickr account for my profile page here at your site. I thought it would allow me to mix content specifically for my fellow Otaku friends. My older account -which I upgraded to pro- is dedicated to my portfolio only and some photos my fiancee takes from time to time. Also it allows me to expand my personal studio name. I'm currently updating that site.

I'm looking forward to the Maid version of Mirari-chan. ^^ Azami-sensei working some more magic with our favorite mascot.

I think the maid one is the one I like best. The frills and stuff are nice.

Sure I could have hosted the pictures myself, but with the Flickr plugins available for WordPress means I can update my gallery page in one click without having to write it myself. Plus Flickr gives you another audience outside of your blog. Photo hosting is so common that the service of hosting photos is nothing special at all. Some of the other services might have a more robust set of photo features, but none of them can touch Flickr on the social aspect so far, which is what makes Flickr different.
