I'd have to go gundam, at least you can pose them/swap parts instead of a static figure (I like figures too). With regards to the new figure.fm I dont mind either way, as long I can share photos of my gunpla collection I'm happy. But would we need to re-register? Also will you be recruiting new moderators? I feel could help since I frequent figure.fm alot.

As it stands its difficult to skim through Figure.fm efficiently because of the clash between the content. However, I am pleased to say that I actually prefer Gundams more than figures because most of them (HCM Pro, HG/MG/PG etc.) require some form of construction/modification before they are enjoyed fully. Figures on the other hand are just as expensive, usually built (this excludes resin models), and serve no purpose in displaying actual "physical" devotion or skill in that niche genre. I know I'm going to be under fire for this but the notion of buying a figure isn't really something to be "proud" of since there is really nothing you can do to them (that is unless you are a collector who refrains from opening the packaging and extracting the contents).

I prefer Figures to Gunpla, mainly because I can't paint Gunpla and I prefer something female to decorate my desk and shelves. I love gundams but I'd rather go for figures (and evangelions!)

I've never been to that other site...I love how much variety you get in the posts here. I love the (...) in Japan segments and the random other stuff. I wouldent really mind if figures went to the other site, but Gundams should stay here. I would like if Candy Girl as moved over to the oher site, because I...Don't....really....like....them....

As much as I love those big eyes, most nicely crafted figures are non-posable. To alleviate some of the boredom when stranded on a deserted island, I choose posable Gundam to help keep me entertained, until I am rescued by a boatload of beautiful beach volley ball players of the opposite sex.

i made my homepage figurine.fm. i personnally think it should stay the way it is. even though there are less people who like both gundams and figurines, there are still a fair amount. it wouldnt be fair to split the site in two.

I have to go with gundams. Its just more fun building it and putting your time in it. Nothing against fugures because i have quite a few myself.

It's easier to make a woman look like a figure than it is to make her look like a gundam. I want gundams on my shelves. btw Danny i like the idea about making figure fm for figures and this place for gundams. dont get me wrong. i like figures too but 1) i like building things 2) i like the posability 3) i think they look cooler.

I'd choose to bring Gundams. much more fun to build then if I get bored of them I'll probably mod them with bamboo twigs and pebble rocks. ^^ about moving gundum stuff here. I think it might be better to leaving the gundam kits posting at figure.fm. although another option is to open a gunpla.fm. ^^

I generally prefer figures as they give you that 'moe~' feeling when you're looking at them ^^;

Of course, I do think gundams are pretty cool as well. Imagine piloting one of those and grabbing all the figures you can find! ^___^

I still find it hard to make a definite choice and don't think I ever will. ^^;

I really want to make time for building more figures. Like Gunpla, one has strong feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction when completed. No offense to anyone, but I often get the feeling that many think figures are not complicated to build.

Like a bunch of people here, I do appreciate both and I do have both, but recently, some of my figs are 'leaning' and I can't really do anything about it whereas if it was a Gundam, I would be able to mod or fix it. i really dislike the figures because they make your room look like your a perv....

and plus you cant play with figures, you can play with gundams! play war and stuff! make stop motion videos!! >:3

I agree the figures do make you look like a perv if the wrong person see's them. But they're soooo cute!!! (Well I only bye the cute ones lol.) I love figures because they're something fans can only dream of, 3D versions of their favourite characters. I would buy boy figures if they made really awesome Kyo-kuns or Tamahomes or Syaorans or Limdo/Uruki-kun!! The only boy figures I have are Balthier-san from FFXII and an L Nendoroid lol.

There is only one Gundam I would get. Gelgoog. Twas the one I used to play with on PS2. Which rocked.

I would have to take Gundam over figures on a deserted island. I wouldn't do this because I prefer Gundum over figures. Gundam have many more parts that are easily shaped into sharp objects with a rock. I've been watching too much Survivor Man and Man vs Wild. On the plus side I can take my shoe and create a fishing pole now. LOL

Gundams all the way! I wouldn't want to take my figures to a place where they aren't safe. They are better off at home.

Just imagine...after two ronery years of being on the island and passing your time by looking and cherishing your figures suddenly a coconut falls off a palm and smashs your most beloved one. THE HORROR! >_<

But at least the people on the mainland would probably hear your deafening scream of agony. ~_~

Definitly Gundam. Why?

1. They cost more
2. They give you a sense of courage
3. Kills time making them
4. Improves your gundam building abilities
5. Exercises your creativity and concentration as well as the will to fight off any mysterious blob that's staring at you 24/7.

...figures is good too but...all they'd do is get you dazed and sit there playing with your pickle.
