Nice... I would really like to build this kit! I wonder if this will be available outside of the show? Looked on his blog, but didn't find if he had a distributor...

A local shop has both the RX-78 and Zaku paper kits. Now I have an urge to buy both and get to work!

Curse you microorganisms! Poor Danny. Hope you feel better.

I was going to complain about how the suspense of seeing your Mirei-chan is likely to make me pop, but since finding out you're sick, I feel guilty for that "almost".

Anyway, Linus Pauling would tell you to drink plenty of OJ. But... yeah....

I want one! I recently discovered the Hi-NU Gundam and it's become one of my favorite gundam designs. I like it better than the first version. Is there any mention on the scale/size of his paper kit? I have the 1/30 scale kit of the RX-78 and Char's Zaku. I've only completed the RX-78 but it's the biggest gundam in my collection and I love it, my summer project this year is to work on the Zaku. I have no skills at reading Japanese so is there anywhere to order this or info on the sizze and price? Thanks agian for tempting us with more gunpla

    "I can't believe it's not plastic!" ^^

It's very nice for pieces of paper assembled together.
Is that some kind of special material related to inkjet paper? I don't think it would be the thin type.

Danny, don't overexert yourself. Health comes first! Hope you will be better soon.

I tried this one before, and it came out not so crisp. I will most likely try it again soon though since it is a good substitute for the gunpla which is about $80. Heres a good site for anyone interested in papercraft, has some easy ones for begginers.

    That's pretty detailed for a paper-made Gundam ^^

I don't think I'll make something like that though... I'll break it easily since my hands aren't really good for such things.

I happen to have the hi-res pdf of this paper model. It seems that they model the gundam in a 3D software and later convert it to paper schematics through a 3D paper software.

I've seen paper projects on Portal.

hehe, if I tried to do this...well...lets just say...after about a week, I'd have torn up all the paper and burned it...Amazing that it all fits and you can stay with it for so long. But that just might be an attraction to Gundam...hm...
