    Looks great!
    Doesnt look that busy either.

Nice to see you saw sense and didnt risk skiing in your clunky trooper cozzie!
Shame there's been no snow in Tokyo though. Snow is hands down my favourite weather.

Hope your wife's leg is better now!

Heh, I'd hit that suicide slope. Not too steep or wild.
And at least you weren't skiing on ice. That sucks.

I miss the snow. Here it is March and I was out cutting the lawn. Last time I skied, I had my poles stolen! Cost me a pretty penny on the fee because they were rentals.

Hope your wife is feeling better.

the climate is definitely changing for the worse, you can notice that everywhere, some days are so hot in Brazil that you have to walk around carrying a mobile electric fan to stand the heat or avoid to walk outside in certain hours of the day.

I imagine myself jumping on that snow to cool off.

    Lots of snow here.

Even if it is cold (-13°C tomorrow!), it is much less than last year. Winter came later than usual too.

It may be more pleasant not to deal with fierce blizzards and frostbite too often, but I am worried about the long-term effects of human activity on the planet...

Looks so peaceful and relaxing, just the sort of thing I need right now. Both my fiancee and I have been working our asses off since the beginning of the year.

I'm sure you both had a nice time. Sorry to hear your wife sprained her leg. Hope she is doing well.

Dam it's been so long since I been on skis, probably would just tumble down the slope. ^o^ ^^; I did try snowboarding a couple of years ago.

It has been a freaky winter. I think the weather here in Michigan has changed a lot since I was younger. Thunderstorms in the middle of winter and all these ice storms was unheard of here in years pass. Probably proof we are screwing the planet all to #ell.

Ugh, with the windchill it's -21 C right now.

Danny, I have always been a big on trains. Would you consider adding the photos of the N4 MAXs to wallpaper. The image number is 5369. Thanks...

Thanks...

it hardly snows in australia but australia's weather is always random, since it could be sunshine one minute and next minute hailstorms or thunderstorms. i've nv seen it actually snowing before so i would love to go to a country like japan during winter and just sit and watch it snow n enjoy the negative temperatures =D

I'm surprised that there's so few people there. Here in Australia it is quite busy during winter. Every time I go skiing it's quite crowded.
I love skiing, skiing in Japan looks really good. The onsen looks appealing, would love to relax in one after skiing for the whole day.
The only thing to look froward to here after a long day of skiing is a shower and then sit in front of a fire.
Well I'm not complaining, as long as I get to ski.

OMG what a coincidence my mom sprained her ankle skiing a couple weeks ago. Got carried in one of those things too. ^^; Funny cuz she broke it on a California black... which is equal to a Utah blue! Maybe the blacks got harder this year.

Mogles (the bumps on the suicidal slope) are easy once you learn how to navigate them. They suck away your energy lol.

At my favorite ski resort, I like to bring ramen and a thermos in a backpack and find a secret place by a beaver trail to eat it with friends. Totally forgot why I still live in Mimiland.

I haven't skiied but I have gone snowboarding once with my uni friends years and years ago. Wasn't very good at it to be honest, even though I thought I'd be ok at it since I've skateboard before. From experience and talking with other snowboarders, it's more like surfing than skateboarding.

Love the snow and wish we had a white Christmas here in Australia sometimes. I think snow is quite romantic. But we have to go up to the mountains for it, which is about less than a few hours drive from the city.

I skiied before and nearly ran into somebody. Same thing happened with snow boarding. I rarely go into the mountains although you could probably get there within a few hours drive from the San Gabriel Valley. Onsen + snowy mountain must equal heaven.

it looks great to be skiing in that kind of weather. I do really miss the snow since NYC gets no-little snow during the winter. Can't wait to head back to campus, snow accumulation goes up to 8 inches at least.

Thank you for the nice photos. For myself I never was skiing. It looks like there is no compulsory wearing of a helmet needed? Now, the most of the German skiier buy helmets because an accident of a political who crashed hardly into a woman which died - she had some children. Skiing is dangerous ^^ But that is not the reason why I dont ski, I never had a chance to =)

I see a lot of folks live in places that don't get snow. Well you aren't missing much. It may look very beautiful, but it is extremely cold here right now, we constantly have to shovel out around our house, have our driveway plowed out, and worry about wrecking going from place to place, etc. Not too mention anytime you hit your body on something and it is cold outside it hurts ten times as much. And my window is slowly being covered by the icicles that now seem to be over 5 feet long! They do look really nice i will admit. Well i suppose it helps me to appreciate summer/spring/fall much better than if i lived somewhere that was always in one climate mainly.

I am lucky, living close to some of the best skiing in the world. In fact, one of the top World Cup events is held at a nearby resort named Beaver Creek. I was there last weekend zipping down the same course as the pros (though not with as much speed!) Sadly, as others have already commented, times are changing. Colorado is in the tenth consecutive year of drought, and snow totals are down again this year.
