Wow, I remember that place too. Man you are bringing back so many memories... I don't know if I can wait for my degree anymore! heh

I met a girl at a coffee shop, and she took me there for our first "outing." I climbed to the very top where there we could see Fuji-san and some sort of bird sanctuary if I remember right... Also there was a place where people left keys of something, but the area was locked up with fence because the American sailors had trashed it. *shrug*

Oh man, tears in my eyes.

I'll have to check out Enoshima when I go back to Japan, hehe. Have you ever been to Tanegashima? I've heard that the islands around ryuukyu are really beautiful.

If any of you are planning to go to Japan the best months of the year are from March - May/early June and October - November.

You'll fall in love with Japan if you arrive during those months especially during March-April where you can see and really appreciate the Sakura cherry blossoms or "Hanami" as they call it.

Went to Kyoto in during mid-April and loved it. It's so relaxing if you visit the temples/Japanese gardens. Weather was perfect and everything was so lush and green with a slight breeze.

Golden Week is during the first week of May so arrive before or after to get cheaper ticket prices/good deals. Everything gets expensive and crowded during that week!

If you arrive during the other months you'll either be too cold (yes, it get's pretty cold here without snowing) or too hot (It gets so damn hot/humid here during the summer).

Just keep that in mind when you travel here. You'll be glad that you did.

I went to Kamakura, which I think is quite near to Enosmima.

It was the first time I've seen the Pacific Ocean which was pretty cool. There were some weird fish washed up on the shore and I was going to take a shell home as a souvenir but found it had a crab living in it!
