警視庁の歩行者天国の説明はこう。。。
"「歩行者天国」は、昭和４５年８月、都内の代表的盛り場で実施されたのが始まりで、現在は、《中央通り（銀座・秋葉原）・新宿地区》で実施されています。
「歩行者天国」は歩行者用道路として人と車を分離し、安心して楽しい散策やショッピングができるように設けたられたものです。"
最近のアキバの歩行天では、DVD一枚買わなくてもまぶしい光景が見れます。アキバブログさんのHPにはこのまぶしい光景の雰囲気が味わえます。
