    I don't know how the illustrator did it, but she almost looks like she should be there, as a Russian candy bar mascot. They managed to suck all the Japan out of her.

      well she's pretty much on the road to becoming a global anime/manga icon. Maybe not as iconic as Hello Kitty/Sailormoon/Mario but certainly headed there.

    Here in Santiago, at a store in the mall, they used a photo of a cosplayer as haruhi. Was a very interesting sight. I doubt they paid any money to her.

      You don't watch much television do you? In "Rojo Fama contrafama" (a television show in Chile which is somewhat like american idol but for singers and dancers), the famous Kipi Cosplay as Haruhi was used in the background for at least 2 weeks, I was really WTF when I first saw it.

    1)That product from Byelorussia (not russian's)
    2)it is waffle
    3)russian language is secon official language in Byelorussia ,that's why inscription on a pack is russian's (Byelorussian goverment with Lukashenko and Byelorussia is little,impudent,affectedness and shitty country(and it is obviously,that Byelorussian producer don't know about copyright),but i like to travel to Minsk,becouse it is very beautiful and clear ^_^)
    4)Anime and Haruhi are very popular in Russian,we have own anime-festivals,cosplay-shows and fan-sites and clubs (if you think that there aren't live in russian :3)
