KDDIさんはよく営業しに来る。毎回は「間に合っています」と言うのに、定期的にくるんだよね。
でも今日は簡単にドアを閉められなかった。なぜかというと、営業ウーマンはかなりのかわいいコでした^^;
KDDIの新しい営業戦略恐ろしい!「じゃKDDIに乗り換えるよ」と言うところだった^^;
雰囲気は優しいお姉様。こんなかわいい営業ウーマンは初めて見たね。しかも連れの営業マンもイケメン。
dannychoo.comのことを教え、写真も撮らせて頂きました^^;

    I think being Eigyou Man is hardest part of being in the work force. I believe I don't have what it takes to sell something to people in person like how Eigyou people do it @_@ I can never be a sales man!!!

    Rahter than Eigyou Men selling products we have ladies and gentlemen coming to your doorstep trying to promote their prospective religion. Just yesterday 2 guys wanted to introduce the 'book of mormon' to me. Friendly guys but it's not my cup of tea to procure my religion like that so I did friendly 'mani atteimasu' them. I don't live in Utah btw., I heard that this specific book is popular or am I mistaken?.

      The Book of Mormon is one of the books of scripture (in addition to the Bible) used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, also known as the "Mormons," which name comes from the name of that book. ^_^

    Results on speedtest.net put my connection between 7 and 7.5mbps - and this is on the faster broadband network available in Australia. One of the joys of international travel for a lot of Australians seems to be getting to enjoy comparably blazing fast downloads from their hotel room. ^^;

    Our government does have big plans for improving our connections with a brand new nation-wide network, but sadly they're also considering forcing a filter on us that will slow it right back down and block a lot more than just the genuinely block-worthy content.

    My Internet speed isn't too bad considering that I'm in the UK and the average is 8Mb or less, I'm with BETHERE one of the few in the country to offer 24Mbit connections and I actually get that speed too because the exchange is just over the road so pretty happy considering I'm a UK user. :D

    internet speed (ADSL/cable) in singapore are generally pretty bad/expensive considering the offerings in S. Korea/Japan. I'm paying roughly 20 USD / month for a 3mbps line, ~ 300kb/s. We do have 12mbps to up to 100mbps lines available for you to subscribe, but you are lucky to get around half of that speed most of the time.

    Some of our cable companies (green...) even throttle torrent speeds, not that I used them of course :)

    I'm lucky if I hit just above 1Mb/s on DSL and yet pay over $50USD. There are only two providers here worth your time and one is the cable company that requires overly expensive package deals to get the fast connection AND not have a monthly cap, so i have to suffer with the slower DSL because having no cap is important to me. i was supposed to get 1Mb/s with my package.
    instead of 1Mb/s, i get

    I'm in university dorms and get my internet for free (or included in the very cheap rent, to look at things from another perspective).The downside to that is I have to share it with a lot of other people. In the mornings my internet speed is great, but in the evenings it's not so good.

    Testing at 10pm: DL: 11.70 Mb/s and UL: 16.26 Mb/s

    Tested a couple of months ago at about 9am: DL: 93.21 Mb/s and UL: 34.84 Mb/s

    Quite a big difference!

    I haven't seen any religious groups wandering the neighborhood in a few years, they kept pestering me, the elderly couple across the street, a family across the street, and an emergency room specialist one house down.

    Maybe they got scared off by the elderly woman with severe dementia, or they got scared off when I opened the door dressed as Master Chief from Halo when I was trying on a costume for a Halloween World of Darkness game as my character Victor "Halo Jerk" Hartman...

    Hm, we have a 24mb(down)/1mb(up)DSL here. It works Decently I guess. I've never gotten close to actually having 24 mb downloads though. Mostly the fault of the web pages I'm loading from though I reckon. When I take something from a major company site it's blazing down to my HDD. It's kind of pricy though as we have one of the more pricy (but much more stable connections and less downtime) ISP's.

    As for door knockers...

    Well, I do get the occasional overly rude Jehova man whom insults me on every visit while i try to shoo him off in a good manner (while withholding my inner wish to stuff his nostrils with nendoroids.)
    Sometimes I get two Jehovas ladies though. They are both really sweet and if I can, I spare some time for them even if I personally think their religion is of the hook.

    We used to have a lot of door to door sellers like 5-8 years ago. But lately It's really died down. You almost get a bit chocked when one turns up now.(living in northern Sweden at least.)

    http://www.speedtest.net/result/690370314.png Go MQ! Pity this is my work internet - it would be wrong to DL non-work related stuff on it.

    Last time I did the speed test at home I nearly cried - ADSL2+ but it chugs along compared to the internet connections I've used in Japan and Korea. Costs $AU80 a month for 100GB of downloads plus VoiP phone access with free local and national calls. Not bad, by Aussie standards, but pathetic compared with other countries.

    Thanks for the Speedtest link Danny,

    I've done the testing from that "speedtest.net" ... and the result is as below;

    Download Speed = 0.56 Mb/s
    Upload Speed = 0.34 Mb/s
    Ping = 260 ms

    I don't know how long it will take till the ISP and TelCos in South East Asia can reach the level that they already have now in Japan.... probably another 20 years or maybe it will never happen at all...
