Nope nothing at all of interest as far as nerd stuff goes in my area. Gotta travel for that sort of thing.

in MY, we do have figure/gundam/doll booth once in a while at cons. But they're purely run buy a small fanbase community.
I used to display my figurines, but now I dont as my collection looks boring as people only flocks FSN/Nanoha/TH2/QB and the likes.

Dang, you would think in Southern California there would be something in the Los Angeles or Orange County area...but not that I know of.

That's never going to happen where i live since i live in a smaller city that gets barely a single event.*sigh*

I hope there's going to be something as awesome in that in Singapore next year... maybe then I'll be able to go!

As for figure conventions... there's some toy conventions here, but all of them are centered on Western figures D: there are probably one or two booths for anime figures but that's about it.

It's times like these that I wish I could just teleport to Japan or anywhere (well, except for the toilet that is) you go to. Anyway, WI has yet to see a figure event; the best we have here is the summer state fair, and I've seen some anime / manga stuff there.
