I give them points for recogizing that things are changing and for them to change their business strategy. Unlike some companies who try to claw and keep doing what they've beendoing for years to the detriment of company shareholders.

Well, I personally believe the cost has a major impact on the industry of printed materials, such as newspapers, magazines and periodicals. Images off tend to be free, while the same images printed in magazines can run up to 10 dollars. In today's economy, it is likely that the demand for these "luxuries" are quite low.

I don't really mind as long as they continue with digital releases. I do find it a little weird though, sure they've gone from 100k sold magazines per month to 84k since October 2007, but by shutting it down completely they lose 84k customers. And that doesn't sound like a wise thing to me...

    No question for me really.

    2D > 3D
In all ways, from personality, to cuteness, to healthcare. I like 2D girls! XD

Haven't renewed my Playboy subscription but seem to be buying Megamis and Nyan Types every month. Wonder if the Japanese are doing the same?

I do like 3d girls too but it's harder to find one that I like as much as 2d girls. Just not as cute and will often look trashy with fake oppai. Thus, why I did not renew my Playboy subscription. 30 year old women with overly sized double D oppai = not cute to me. 18-21 year old college girls with natural oppai = more likely to be something I want to see.

For physical copies vs jpegs. I like to have both. I plan on scanning some of my books because I can't bring them with me around the world very easily.

Magazines and newspapers are suffering from websites.

What's important is whether a business like Sabra can transition its regular readers to a subscription for a website instead of buying the magazine.

The problem many media businesses have on the internet is getting people to pay for access. So far, most newspapers have offered their websites free, which obviously can't continue for ever.
