This makes me wonder if Danny's gonna start designing apps now.

Although I'm not an iPhone user, it is an ever-growing market and with that insane deal in Japan where people can get them for free (Danny did a video of that a while ago), it's a no-brainer to put out at least a few apps to test the waters.

my 1st homepage is really boring since I just keep the standard icons there. Second page is a little more interesting but I tend to only keep a few games and fun apps. Nothing much on the practical side...

Well if you need to update an app, in this case, if the clock app gets new images frequently, I would suggest using the In-App Purchase(DLC). You wont need to wait for Apple and their lengthy approval process each time you update (unless you submit a new binary). And of course, if you are updating with additional free images, then the DLC cost would be zero.

Lol, I thought this is the announcment of a iPhone optimized dc.com page when I saw the title^^
"iPhone Springboard" would have been the right version for the headline. My first Springboard page is quite boring mostly the standard Apps: http://twitpic.com/lvtaq

Quite interesting how folks prefer different Twitter apps. I didn't like Twtterfon at all and prefer Tweetdeck. Twitterfon is called Echofon since months now btw.

So the first Mirai clock will not be updated but replaced by another App?
What's MemStatus for, clearing the memory? I'm doing this with the "taskmanager" on my SBSettings panel ( http://twitpic.com/lvukj ) , quite usefull sometimes.

16 new SMS's? I think that's more than I get in half a year. lol And 12 AppStore updates? oO

Really looking forward to your app Danny :).

Also, I think it would be worth looking into Tweetie 2, it's my favorite Twitter app for the iPhone and is only $3. It's very fast and full of tons of features and handles multiple account and has many third party services integrated. I would check it out at: http://www.atebits.com/tweetie-iphone/ if you haven't already.

Thanks for another version of the Mirai Clock as well though, I was kind of sad to not really see updates for it :(

Nice choice of apps. (^_^) Mine is shared with my older brother so it has mainly music, which isn't a bad thing but I like the games too. lol Nice to hear some news about the DC.com/Figure.fm apps and the Mirai Clock, got the Mirai Clock myself a couple of weeks ago and I love it, though I was wondering when/if there would be updates. *Crosses fingers* Hopefully there will be some pictures of Mirai, Haruka & Kanata together. Can't wait for DC mobile and its ability to comment! I mostly use my iPod touch and Gmail App, which lets me use almost all of Google features included Reader which allows you to read RSS feeds. This is how I look through new information on DC and was lamenting the lack of comments feature XD

    Hi Danny,
Looking at your iphone screens. I notice some new icons.... your work in progress i presume (mikuclock and the dannychoo browser ) ;)
Any way you should check the "Photo Snow Globe" app out. You could use it for a clock app with your own personal foto + special effects.
But I use it like an wallpaper viewer with time on my iphone. You just have to copy your desktop wallpaper to iphoto.

My iPhone is now in 1-page-only zen bliss. =)
(had to jailbreak to delete a few of the default apple apps like stocks, weather and standalone address book...)

I only frequently use the Phone, SMS, iPod and Notes. The other 16 apps left are also hardly used on a day-to-day basis.
