I'd love to have a Figma of C.C. to go with Lulu and Suzaku, and it would be nice to see some more PVC figures of her as well. It would also be good to see more Figmas of popular male characters - I know that the existing ones are pretty popular not just among figure fan communities, but also on the relevant fan communities on Livejournal (which is majority female users).

Another idea is to create models of Japan-only (JDM) cars and market them specifically to North America. There are a lot of JDM fans here.

And Initial D is always good, although there probably is already quite a bit of that stuff available.
I think most importantly is to make it easy to order and ship. Ship from the US (+ Canada!!) to minimize shipping costs for the consumer and make the 'shall I buy it' barrier lower.
The packaging should be Japanese. The consumer needs to have the feeling it comes straight out of Japan.

+1 It would be nice to see some of our favorite girls as race queens. I know the SuperGT, Super Taikyu fan in me would enjoy.

Ahhh, I was going to suggest Chii because my boyfriend loves Chobits, so +1 for Chii. I think there's a bit of a gap between dedicated figure communities and places like Livejournal where a large part of the female anime fan base can be found, but there's also a lot of interest in figures among female fans. I posted news about the Kuroshitsuji Nendoroids over at the relevant LJ community and got an extremely enthusiastic response and users were trading tips on their favourite import stores in order to buy the figures, so I feel like there's a lot of interest but none of the companies are really making much effort to tap into that.
