And as for doodling anime/manga style stuff. I do. Alot. Trying to stop doing it as much, cos my tutors don't.... approve as such... They say its been done to death... which is blatently hasn't, cos anime and manga is still ballooning in popularity in the west! Dunno what she's on about really........

I proudly draw Anime/Manga. I'm still learning as I'm only very oung, but I've had a lot of compliments from people around me. I've always hoped I could get a manga published, or a figure of my own characters. I'm planning to make a custom nendoroid of one of my OC's ^^

Haha, I scribble all the time, probably more than's good for me (or at least my education)... pity it doesn't seem to help my ability much ^^; I'd love to do a slice of life/uni shinannigans style web comic with some of my characters, but just right now that's filed under "things I'll get around to some day".

I've been trying to get back into my artistic ways since I got my tablet last August. Unfortunately my schedule this semester is so busy I hardly have any free time anymore. But my work in my illustration class has really given me some confidence, so hopefully I can get something drawn soon.

So awesome, I'm getting so many wallpapers out of KL's works.

I doodle stuff now and then, while it is actually decent it's sure not high leveled enough to make some project with.

I am however, a good computer scientist and software engineer, CS being my degree's major and all.

I thought it was kinda strange going from manga straight to anime. But with the things I have seen here, it's not hard to believe.

Those are amazing illustrations, I wish I could draw like that. I enjoying doing some sketching, I really need to work on it though. I didn't have much time to sketch before, but now since I've finished Uni I'll be able to draw more often =D.

Very nice...so much talent...I doodled some in high school, but mostly trying to draw the optical eyes...never was that good...

I used to doodle a lot of anime-style characters back in high school. I even uploaded some to my DeviantART account! But ever since I became a college student I only doodle very rarely. Also, my scanner is broken so even if I want to upload some of my newer pics I can't. I'm planning to buy a tablet someday though x_x

O.O Dang, someone can really draw and color.

I used to be able to freehand an anime character off the screen or off a magazine but I always envied those who could just sit down and draw an anime character out of nowhere with no reference of any kind. Might try my hand at drawing again with the creation of my own mascot but it will be nowhere near this excellence. ^^;

I was an art major when I first started college so so so many years ago... ^^; I guess that is why I enjoy pixiv so much. It is nice to see so many talented artist in one place and nice to see them here in the DC community as well! Hopefully when I post stuff to my tumblr blog it gives them more exposure.

I've got mixed feelings.

In one hand, it's awesome tha Mirai gets animated and even more when the illustrator is so good.
In the other hand, I'm ashamed I've never been able to draw anything but stick figures TT___TT

Good to hear that everything is progressing for you Danny :) Motivates me to do a better job with the blog as well. Quite pleased with how it looks and works now. But do want and have a mascot in creation. Still haven´t thought of her last name though... Need to step up a gear there and fix that.
