Brand new LX3 and E-P1 are better than both LX3 and DP2.

But if you need a lower cost Camera, go for LX3.

The main thing I don't like about this camera is its size.

A compact DSLR seems to never be able to match up to the caliber of a full sized DSLR right?
EP-1 and GF-1 are both compact SLRs?

I kinda think that if you're going to use lens and SLR-like features, might as well sacrifice portability for power. But do tell us, how does the EP-1 and GF-1 perform compared to a DSLR?

If it doesn't match up exactly, it doesn't seem to be worth it.

I rather like the size of the LX3 (:

I saw the model on the back cover of a photographer mag yesterday. :)
I was like, "this one or the Lumix GF1?"

I'll go for the cheapest one instead ^^; Of course, I got a Olympus SLR already... I pay off my loans before thinking of getting a new camera :O

This means... even folks from Olympus read your burogu Danny. ^^ Hehe~ Really nice camera when I see stuff on your "Olympus Pen" post about this one - http://www.dannychoo.com/post/en/22611/Olympus+Pen.html, but I personally prefer the Lumix GF1 from Panasonic. Wonder if Panasonic is gonna give you the Lumix GF1 indeed, when they see this post? >< Now you have a Ton of "free" camera with you... you are soo lucky Danny... ^^; Loking forword to review of this one, and can't wait to some news about "free" Lumix GF1. Hehe~ \ ^^ /

Danny (and everyone), The mount on the E-P1/G1/GH1/GF-1 is the best thing about the system. Both cameras can use the same mount, and the mount itself can be adapted to just about ANY lens out there.

What i really want from the GF-1 is the new 20/1.7 lens.
Also Danny, there is supposed to be an update for the E-P1 firmware on the 15th. Just to let you know
