Oh wow, I really like that Keroro Gunsou diorama (I'm assuming that it is a diorama). Such detail... just look at those miniature Gunplas on Keroro's shelves! LOL at Kururu at Geroro getting "busy" looking at their ideal girls! XD

Hong Kong sure knows how to put out Gunpla, they look gorgeous, so do the girls. ^^;

I personally think the Wing Gundam was the best of the bunch, and one could easily tell by the huge crowd of photographers next to it. Of course, there were crowds around the entire exhibit and basically everywhere, but you get my point.

Oh wow, I'm surprised it runs through the weekend all the way until Tuesday. There was a small anime convetion in Montreal Canada this weekend too, started Friday night and finished Sunday 6:00 PM. It was nice but short ^^

The modded Cherudim was totally own. Probably one of the nicest mod of the kit i've ever seen :O

The gundams look epic even though I've never bought any gundam figures on my own and generally speaking don't have any interest in them. The ladies are pretty nice too.

I used to go every year, but I didn't bother going this year because it just keeps getting more and more crowded every year. Though maybe if they can invite some seiyuu or singer of similar calibre as Nakagawa Shoko next year, I might think of going again.

Though I'll be going to this doujinshi event on August 22nd called Comic World just to have a look.

I am attending the convention in HK too. Lots of fun indeed and the booth girls are very pretty.
Only complaint: when the Image girls and cosplay girls are on the stage, all the 'press' climb on top of chairs and obscure the view of everyone in the audience... I hope you weren't one of those annoying press persons :/

i went to a con this weekend and saw a dude crossplaying as yoko. how fail is that? way to rape my mind, bro.

Well the convention is over! Here are the results of the various competitions:
The Great Zeong pictured above won the top prize in the Dengeki Gunpla Championship there.. funny, the builder's name is Vincent Chan, just like mine haha!
The Wing Gundam (also pictured above) won second place.
Image Girl #9 (CC) won the 2009 Image Girl Competition, with Image Girl #2 (Stephanie) winning second place.
Cosplayer yoko was a runner up but didn't win the competition (she was my favorite too), the winner being a girl portraying a Multi Raid character.

Wow really nice pictures there...the cosplayers are really great looking! Unlike the ones in Singapore >_>

I wholeheartedly agree with that mech being really gorgeously done. I am really interested in building and painting kits, so seeing works of art such as that really inspires me to go and pour in my heart and soul into these things. I attended a kit building event and it was such a refreshing and exciting experience to get educated on this facet of the hobby.

I really dig the Batman costume. If that was handmade, I'd have to say he did a stellar job with it.
