Sometimes I get a bit jealous of Danny of going into parties like these especially in a Maid Cafe.

Strangely though , Danny doesn't have a photo article about Maid Cafes . I recall Danny going to Maid Cafes during events and parties but not solo .

Sounds like a pretty fun event, though I do wonder what the point of an otaku encyclopedia would be since the easy solution to gaining that sort of knowledge is just to keep one's pulse close to the anime community by partaking in watching a variety of shows, discussing it with others, and of course, blog! =)

It's for people who are not otaku, especially those who are studying the community/culture academically. The current status of the field is fascinating, though it's frustrating sometimes because it's so new and the people who are lauded for being groundbreaking write really inaccurate papers.
