umm.. that is not a katana, its a great sword.
i personally feels that ( please dun flame me if it offend any of u guys)
there are a few things slightly off, the holes on the flute and the hand looks abit different in colour, the eyes, and the legs
but what i admire about this figure is the detail of her clothes, and the sword. the hair i would just give it a pass.
at first glance i find it nice, but after a period of time.... hmm u know what i mean.

I'll pass. Putting kimono together with such an ero state of undress just doesn't click for me.
However, the details on the kimono floral pattern and the sword look good. I also like the shading on her hair and how the front fringe of her hair doesn't look clumped together. Is the prototype made of resin? It'll be nice if the final version is like that too.

Oddly enough, it's the exact opposite for me - the kimono, put together with a rather unusual state of undress is what I find appealing about this figure.
The only thing that has me hesitating is A) the hair seam, which doesn't look too good, and B) my budget is already next to zero, and the release date means this will be a figure I can't get until I return to Canada and have to pay outrageous shipping and custom charges for.

Wow, the detailing looks amazing, especially with her kimono. Though I'll be passing on her as well since I'm unfamiliar with the character. Perhaps if it ever goes on sale or when the final product is released and reviewed... but 8,800¥ is too expensive for me to be burning on a character I don't know~XD

Yet another exclusive figure. I'm curious what figure companies are trying to accomplish with program. It seems to benefit proxy buyers and eBay sellers more than the figure companies. I've bought the Kotobukiya Sendo Erika and Alter's Lycoris Radiata and paid way too much.
As much as I'd like to have this figure and the Gemaga exclusive Corticarte Apa Langranges, it's just too expensive.

Yea, I wonder about that as well, the basic of all retailing is for the items to be easily purchased by the consumers... schemes such as this that pretty much makes purchasing it hard, especially for foreign buyer, is a bit weird to me... @___@ It's not like they are selling diamond studded limited exclusives cost your partner's arm, leg and kidneys Chanel bag... or maybe it is a similar scheme??
