I sat my 11 year old bro through episode 9 of K-on!. Laughed like a drain. Commeneted on its weirdness. But never the less, he wants to see more. I'll be happy to let him watch it all when I'm back home.

I started off in the Yui camp, and I'm still firmly there. But, while each character is exceedingly awesome, it's the dynamic between them which drives me bonkers for the show.

EP09 was epic, especially the scene where Azu-Nyan breaks down and says that all tea sets should be destroyed. The expression on Mugi's face after that totally made my day ^^

They did a lazy job adding her to the credits. They just pasted her into the already extant group play shot and not much else T_T

I'm telling you guys, Yui's sister Ui is still a 'dark horse' winner. Although I'm Mio-biased too =P

I can't decide because they are all different. I just look at them as an ensemble cast.

Azusa is cute and all... I definitely like Mio better. Episode 9 stretched out a lot longer than I thought. It wasn't bad though. Unfortunately, Azusa doesn't rank that high for me... Ui kind of takes the spot light with Mio :P

I giggled at Mio getting a little jealous over Azusa's attention. Same conflicting feelings I have all the time. I still love Mio the best of course, we're just too alike.

Mio still wins my vote for number one, though Azusa-nya isn't far behind. =P

Much love for Mio. She's still my beauty. Azusa would have come in second but Yui established herself as that favorite with just her increasingly cute self. Next is Azusa who reminds me a lot of Mio. Mugi was a surprise. I'm starting to really like her. Then Ritsu...topping Sawa-chan who I really liked initially but then took the same stance as the rest of the girls "Where did our sweet innocent teacher go?!"

Azusa is definitely a waifu for me.

Azu-nyan's introduction seems a bit strange to me. They did an awful job of adding her into the opening theme, completely left her out of the end theme, and is it me, or did one year go by rather quickly for these girls?

I'm not sure how many episodes is planned for this series, but it's not unheard of for a series to change their opening or end themes about halfway through. Assuming this runs for about 24 episodes, it may have made more sense for them to introduce Azusa at episode 12, given the series some new opening and end songs (or, at least a new end song that actually includes Azu-nyan), and given the other girls a few more episodes to grow and get comfortable performing with each other before passing by an entire year.

Mio is still my favorite but Azusa is incredibly cute and has taken second place away from Yui. Favorite scene with her so far is when Yui calms her down after she snaps from seeing the clubs laid back attitude.
