    Neato! I can think of some cool uses for this, mostly for demonic or magical dollies though. I'm not sure I'd arrange a doll as such, since I'd have to be pretty rich to have an assortment of dolls, I've got the funds for maybe one... ^^;

    If I ever have a Dollfie, I'll probably pass. Glowing eyes aren't just my kind of moe. The dark eyes when she's asleep just look freaky.

    Then again, I'm not sure what kind of middle-ground solution would work best. Perhaps a gentler glow would be better, such as the purple colored eyes. The luminous blue is too distracting. More experiments should be done, few people get it right on their first try. Who knows? This might be the next in-thing.

    Eyes that can be fixated to your every movement (while in a room) is a scary thought, but its really nice though. Love the tv-like static effects. Its ingenious.

    They say that the eyes are the windows of the soul. I read everyone's comments here to my post. The majority are disturbed by these eyes, to say the least. Some have referred to the "brain" powering them. Our own eyes are hard-wired into our brains. Yes, you can turn them off, or put them in sleep mode. But no one has denied that they look alive. This is an "uncanny valley" moment. Google it. I firmly believe in electronic lifeforms. Call them robots. Call them A.I.s. Whatever. This is a major step in the development of electronic lifeforms. Don't get then if you don't believe in electronic lifeforms. Glass or painted eyes are all you folks can handle. We've just jumped another hurdle heading to the Singularity, IMO.

    And then i have a thought how it will be like...
    in the following order;

    - Have several dollfie with these eye mods.

    - Last Pic -> Dollfie eyes offline.

    - Room lights black out suddenly.

    - In the manner of Zaku's mono eyes, each dollfie eyes light up one by one.

    XD

    However, would have to work the way with the eye highlights :d.

    Cool idea, but his particular choice of projections for the eyes is kind of odd to me. The res just isn't high enough to avoid pixellation when coupled with that heavy paperweighting. And to top it off, they're backlit. . . I would have thought non-backlit LCDs would be better.

    I dunno, Danny. These eyes are giving me the creeps. I just know there will be a lot of brick shitting going on on my part when I have to encounter them in real live...

    I must say that I actually don't like these newer eyes with the bigger pupils in general. Your daughters looked better with their old eyes, but that's just my own humble opinion. I really hope that will never give them a glowing eyes transplant Oo
