      Oh oh... another idea would be to get a foreign star (like Billy Herrington) and translate for him/her, especially if they're getting a figure made out of them ^^

    As for your own show, how about, "Danny's OO(Double O)",
    where OO stands for Outside's Otakus.

    From my experience here in Japan, a lot of Japanese doesn't even know that their animes, games, are really popular in the outside world. And that there's a lot of awesome otakus out there who's really can't live without animes( me included )!!

    I think visiting anime, eroge, illustrator and figure offices are great.
    Anime - a look at the life of an animator. We hear many stories of animators having low pay and leading a rather restricted life, but to actually interview and have a look at the daily life of an animator would be more interesting. you can see the passion of the animator, why he choose to continue working even though the pay is low.
    Eroge - Visiting and interviewing companies like Circle, Lump of Sugar, August, Alice soft or Typemoon.
    Illustrator - I love illustration and would be great to see how an illustrator lives, where he get his ideas from and his daily life.
    Figure - GSC, Max factory, Megahouse... All your figure companies ^^
    You could also go into seiyu interviewing or Japanese anime music bands.
    So Danny is now a TV host? ^^;

    Super news there Danny! For the ideas for a TV slot on NHK, what you listed is good (more office visits of figure anime and manga creators) as it is what you are about as a person. Hearing actual stories and interviews from the people who make anime and manga happen is something that seems to be missing outside of Japan I think. I think you have the tact to ask the right questions to keep it interesting and also make interviews so refreshing that they will not fear being interviewed again.

    Incorporating what you do with your 'this week in Japan' segments as well as including your wife without any personal privacy lost that is, would be good. Like how much fun you had visiting this place and what you all found at that place or restaurant. Seeing other people having fun and enjoying something is usually a welcome topic. Just an idea as I am not to sure I can explain it. But its the things you already do that make you YOU.

    Hope you get to do it.

    Wow, that is some incredible stuff you got going on Danny. Congratz on possibly getting your own show! I think your show should just be about what you write one here. Figures reviews, your walks/drives around Tokyo, any major news going in Tokyo that you would like to share with people. I think you should keep it, more or less, simple and not try to get too fancy. I mean, all of us here at DC.com enjoy your posts, and those are just words and pictures. Actually seeing you talk on a regular basis would be like overkill for us, and I'm sure non-DC people would enjoy it as well. XD

    Can't wait to hear updates on all this. ^_^

    TV show with interviews of seiyu, manga-kas, and others related to anime industry would be cool as well as location tours of studios and also tours of places like Akibahara =D
