現在海外では多くのアニメイベントが行われています。最近のアメリカのボストンにあるAnime BostonやカナダのAnime Northでは、当サイトのメンバーRinとLightningさんがそのイベントで買ったものはこれだ。LightningさんRinさんのブログで写真がもっと見れる。
エロ同人誌、抱き枕、ベッドシーツ、フィギュアが海外イベントで手に入る。

    With the holiday weekend recently in the States, a lot of conventions took advantage. There was one a couple hours away from where I live, but I chose not to go this year. I already did one con this year and with the amount I've spent lately, it would have been a bad idea for me to go to another one...

    Nice loot ^^. Love the k-on picture with Yui in the sand.

    There is 2 conventions coming up for Sydney peoples. Smash! on August 8-9 and Animania on September 5-6. Also Supanova on June 26-28, which is more of a sci-fi convention but has quite a bit of anime related stuff also.
    I'll be going to all 3 - but Dollfies have drained me of my money so i probably wont pick up much ^^;

    Uh yeah... and I'll be going to the convention in Vancouver in less than 2 weeks time now... more spending! XD

    Hmmm... regarding the ero doujinshi... They don't check everyone's luggage when they enter Canada, so... no check, no cuffs ^^ I don't think they arrest, just confiscate (for their own enjoyment). And when I re-entered Canada, I made sure to NOT say that I came from an anime convention, LOL! I told them I was on vacation with a friend that I knew from Boston (which is the truth ^^).

    My first convention was anime expo in the USA in... 1999 ^^; at the time anime convention in Singapore was totally unheard of :P It was FUN despite a bit stressful and I should had stayed a bit longer ^^; It was also like a long overdue holiday after my first full time job -- I never take vacations during the time and it was wearing me out :P

    So when I found out 2 girl friends going to the convention we worked something out and went together XD We sold enough CD of our preview of our first colla-book to pay for our hotel ^^; and treat a friend of ours who took us out for a bit after the convention! XD

    I talked so much (to sell the CD) I had no voice by end of the convention XD It was funny :P And most importantly I met a bunch of friends whom I'll probably never have met if I wasn't interested in anime/manga/internetsu ^^;

    Vancouver has it's own local convention coming up in 10 days now. It'll be in the Vancover Convention Center this year, and won't have to switch venues with 3 weeks to go, so it should be great.

    They usually don't have eroge. But if they did, I wouldn't be allowed to buy it anyways. H-manga, on the other hand, is easily available.

    Great loots, both of them! I liked the Lucky Eva t-shirt particularly. ^_^

    And there's a big amount of conventions in Brazil. The largest are Anime Friends (also the largest con in Latin America) and Anime Dreams, both held @ São Paulo. I'm attending two (maybe three) of the seven days of Anime Friends, which is going to happen on July 10,11,12,16,17,18 and 19.

    From our events, I'd say the best thing is the cosplay competitions. Most of them have a very high level, so they're really worthy watching. Goodies are being sold, indeed, but the prices are not very good and there's a real lack of recent stuff. Insofar I've seen no K-on merchandise for example. And I've never seen oppai mousepads or dakimakuras arounds here. =/

    Hehe...bought that Lucky Star Eva t-shirt last Christmas online...

    I'm thinking of starting to buy manga that I've read online, usually at cons up here they'll sell it to us for US price but in Kanadian dollars.

    Man, seeing this is getting me pumped up fro Anime Expo this year. Too bad my friends and I don't have enough this year to go all 4 days. The hotels are expensive and we don't have enough people going with us to help pay for the stay. Currently just 3 people including myself are going.

    Unfortunately there's only one anime convention here that runs twice annually. Still have a great time going with my friends though.
