I don't even know what to think about this. I think if I had a small paper bag I'd put it over the face. It's not anime looking enough, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. Not something I'd want in my collections, but still, it's nice. I'll hope for a Kamina or something though.

Agree 100%. I don't like it because it doesn't look like the anime Yoko.

Still the figure is gorgeous but I wouldn't buy it.

Last thing, the figure looks like it'll definitely have problems with sagging and leaning in the long run especially if you have it in a hot room with no AC.

That would have been ideal, although they should be careful to make the face proportions match the rest of the body. I'll stick with my eyes-up Yoko and Yomako sensei ^^ (the themptation to get other versions is too big!)

Interesting idea. It's a pretty striking figure (I certainly said "wow!" when I first saw it), but it's just not Yoko...I know it's supposed to be more realistic and less anime, but I dunno. Seems a bit off. The face and eyes are really well done, just less Yoko-ish than I'd like. The body and the rest of the figure are beautiful, though. Still, I suppose I prefer the anime version. My initial wow still stands, however :)

She looks kind of weird. I don't know how to describe it. It's like a pseudo-realistic look but mixed with anime-style hair. I think it's because of the hair. Yep, it's definitely the hair. If you're going to do a realistic interpretation of Yoko, then you've got to do it fully including realistic looking hair.

The face gives me a more Caucasian vibe, what with the somewhat larger nose and longer face. The pose and expression also give off a far different feel than regular Yoko; this version looks like she knows how her body..... 'influences' men, and isn't afraid to use it to her advantage. XP

    Very pretty she is.

But I definately prefer anime Yoko. Am I mistaken, or is Yoko meant to be 16, or around that age? Cos that figure's face/body does not look teenage particularly... That said, anime Yoko's body ain't that teenage, but the face is at least less mature lol.

I remember thinking to myself well, I want a Yoko figure, and I will only get the Gift Yoko, wich I have and I love it. I said that back then, before seeing this one....now I don't think I can have only Gift's Yoko, this version is actually more tempting to get than the GIft one a couple months back.

And here I was thinking that I wasn't going to pre order any more figures...silly me.

WHOA...I can't stop gasping when I saw this one...I usually hated a real-life take on anime, because more often than not, It will try to be too seductive and sexy, and closely resemble American-style superhero comic...

But this one just took my breat away..I actually love this figure... XD

Don't think I will pre-order her though... Don't have the resources, am trying to cut down my figure intake.. and most of all, this figure will almost definitely hit the "On Sale" shelf if I wait long enough... so that's that... ^^

Hmmmm, nope. I'll go for the anime version thanks. The real version above may be way up there on the Hawt-o-meter no mistake, but the anime verion is far more likable and brings out Ryoko's personality: underneath all her badassery and hotness, Ryoko is a genuinely nice person, and her design shows this. This 'real version' is just sexy, and none of the character's underlying personality is there...

I much prefer to buy figures that capture the spirit of the character they are modeled after. It's a great sculpt, just not my thing.

Wow, she looks awesome. A bit expensive but I really think about to pre-order and welcome her as my first figure coming from Japan directly.

The body is sexy, the coloring and detail are very good, but the whole point of making a figure based off a anime character...is so they look like that character. Yoko looks like some actress from a live action Gurren Lagann movie. It just doesn't seem right to me. @_@ I love the quality, but would never buy it. :)
