ahh yes, i just felt like changing my avatar, and i need something moé. will find some pics in my collection, resize them, and i'll submit.

Oooh cool. Well unfortunately I can't really come up with anything original since I can't draw to save my life... but I've gone through many avatars... animated and non-animated. If you call taking a photo of a figure, original then so be it lol. I'll work on a few and send some. How many can we fit in that zip file? Minimum? Maximum?

I've been using my avatar for over a year now...but I don't have any programs that help with making new ones...^_^U...

I can't draw, or use Photoshop to make something great greater for my life. I'll leave the tech stuff for the more talented people here. Someone should be giving me Photoshop lessons here~

Avatars are easy enough. I'll see about cropping a few of them, though I'm generally used to sites with 100x100 limits and not 64x64. :)

If one was to draw Mirai/Haruka for an icon, would it -have- to be pixel art? I should focus on drawing s'more, so perhaps some simple illustrations would be just the thing I need to get back on track! And when you say original character illustrations, do you mean drawings of honest-to-goodness original characters/designs, or just original fan art of the series you mentioned?

Guess I'd better go fish out my tablet...

If only I knew the complete ins and outs to make a flash widget, i'm sure the reference from DC would be just killer at the employer.
As for avatars, I guess I can get to work. Most of em will probably be from the current airing series' though.

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with any coding so the widget is a bit out of my league but I can definitely work with avatars.
However since I don't have a working photoshop program on my computer at the moment so I won't be able to be as creative as I would like but I'll work with what I have.
Although since it's currently the last 2 weeks of my college semester right now I'm not sure how much I can get done, must finish end projects and study for finals.

When do you want these done by? It's cummulative and exam season, so time's a been short for me, but I'd love to whip up avatars once I get some spare time.

since I signed up not long ago (finally joined community ^^ hello everyone), I was wondering the same thing when I went through your avatar selection on DC. Theres not many current anime faces to choose from, then lots of folks upload their own.

I have experience in drawing and pixel work..the size limit on our avatars is already a challenge.. this is something I feel eager to try my hand at, but seeing I have a very busy week >o< it is not going to work!!!

I don't kow why, but I never get along flash. I'm a web designer and php programmer, but when ppl ask me "could you do a fla..." it's a イヤーーだ！　But indeed very interesting things can be done in flash. I wonder how will that widget be, still don't get the idea of what will it do :S

I know some Flash, but dang, I don't know that much flash. ^^; If it were an animation you wanted I might have been able to pull it off, but what your asking for is definitely more than I can manage, especially the jquery stuff.

1000th-ed on the deadline question. I have a few pictures I took in Japan, mainly temples and Disneyland, but if that's okay then I'll get some out to ya! I can also try taking some pics of my own figures, but I think that's done to death...

I like this. It's a good way of getting more avatars. Too bad I will skip this one. I most likely can't think of anything useful. It took me forever to come up with just one and I did that because I got tired of having the same avatar as other people.

While it's good to have a lot of avatars to pick from I would prefer if everybody did their own. I find it easier to reconise people by avatar than by name (most of the time it's a combo though). I hate when there are 3 posts in a row with the same avatar and different names. I usually pay attention on why this guy is double (or tripple) posting ^^;

Started my summer work term last Friday and haven't been able to visit DannyChoo.Com recently so I missed the opportunity to send avatars :( Oh well, I'll try my hand out at coding the Flash Feed display!

I have some questions though:
1. Does it necessarily have to use Flash?
2. Are you looking for something similar to the ones you're using on the main page? ^_^
