i would go as far as to say that dolfie fate, is the less creepy of dolls i have seen.
I almost wouldnt mind her coming to life and stabbing me to death

Yeah, I have to say that the Dolfies are really great, er, dolls. However, there's just something about them that's preventing me from fully appreciating them. Price and Anime accuracy. These are the two most important things I take into consideration when I buy figures.

Also, why are Dolfie Fate and Nanoha in their StirkerS form? Their Loli forms are so, so, so much better and kawaiier. Would actually beg, borrow and steal for a loli Fate Dolfie.

Already a dollfie lover and would love to get Fate Testarossa and Latooni Subota.

From the Day i was born till the day i die, i will never be a fan of any doll...nothing like a masculinity complex, they just srsly creep me out. Seeing them dress up as familiar characters is cute though (but still creepy)

I didn't know much about dollfies befor i found your posts. Saw some at a convention last year but i didnt show much intrest.

Now i love them ^^. I will be getting one soon. I'v been looking for the saddle stand you have but have only seen the one for the SD, would the SD saddle stand fit a DD?

This one is getting me ever closer to turning towards dolls. Always been terrified of them, but these lighter productions are gradually relieving the fear, I wouldn't mind these characters coming after me.

I have always thought Dollfies are great but I'm not buying one as they're too big and expensive for me. And Fate isn't converting me at all. There are way more beautiful Dollfies for me.

By the way, are you posting about how you solved the e-mobile problem?

If they weren't so absurdly expensive, I'm sure there would a lot more Dollfie fans, myself included...

Clearly I not willing to fork out money for one and I appreciate anyone who owns one. Considering I had to opportunity to look and hold one in real life, I don't find them scary anymore. ^^

Maybe it's just me, but this time I prefer Nanoha than Fate on this one. I was expecting much better for Fate, although her Zanber is cool ^^;

Dollfie Nanoha and Fate look kinda funny. I'm loving the Fate/Stay Rin Tosaka and Little Busters! Rin very very much. I'm thinking of getting lesser figures so I can get a dollfie...

I plan on buying this but I wonder if they plan on keeping the Takamachi Nanoha original head on Fate and not give her her own original head. The Nanoha head is not quite right. Oh well, now I need an ARIA dollfie.

I'm still on the fence about Dollfies, the cons that keep me away are the price, the joints and well... just not convinced what joy I'd have or be comfortable with having such a doll and dressing her up. ^^;;

Though I will admit those upcoming dolls look stunning and their clothes terrific. I'm not entirely convinced by Fate and Nanoha's expression, their mouth is a bit off. Prefer Saber's facial expression so far.

OMG The Clannad outfit... OMG OMG OMG.... I want a dollfie so bad.... So...very bad... Nanoha and fate both look lovely.... and well.. they all do! Damn them....

Nagisa doesn't look too much like Nagisa. I guess that kind of hairstyle is just hard for miniature hair.... but her face looks good enough to me
but Little Busters Rin (was that her name?) looks awesome, with her tsun face (is she tsundere? I didn't play the game so I dunno)
and Tohsaka Rin with uniform and red coat is good too. Cool costume.

O gotta say that clannad seifuku is really well designed though. awesome xD

I've never watch Fate so I prefer the Fate/Stay Night ones. I find the clothes for dollfies cool, but the dolls themselves aren't really cool.

Also have they already perfected OSX for Windows based machines? I remember playing around with it on my desktop but there were always driver issues and whatnot... but then again the Mini 9 has a Linux OS option when you buy it so it probably has better compatibility.

Just keep torturing me with pictures of Dollfie Fate why don't you? XD I want her so badly, but she costs more than a plane ticket to Japan, which I'm going to need if all goes well. -_-; I'm toying with the idea of getting two jobs this summer in an attempt to work up enough funds for her though.

I used to think Dollfies were just okay, but that was several years ago before most of the licensed character DDs came out. I mean, back when the only head available for DDs was the one without eyeholes. I saw a bunch of bad and mediocre customs, and thought, "Meh." Then I saw Saber, and was hooked.

Yukino looks gorgeous in that Clannad outfit. Feel like lifting her skirt up to peek :muhahaha:

I like dolfies....but the PRICE OMG!!!....Hitsugaya is my only one dolfie, and it was like 12,800 yen....TO MUCH MONEY BUT NECESSARY...it surely is a very expensive hobby....figma save me!!

The Life Sized PaperMoon ones were on my list long before these, I can almost see shelling out 4,500 bucks for a full sized Saber with accessories. I remember the one link where someone took the LS Saber on a Tour of Japan and the places Fate Stay Night were 'filmed'. Best article to date for me. :D

Its just me remember this is what I want, those Dollfies of all sizes are really nice.

That Fate look very attractive!! I don't have any Dollfie before, but this one have my eyes on it! All the accessories can add on to it and move it can make are nice! The only problem is the price tag too high...

Dollfies do look cute but too expensive for cuteness as well. Maybe one day I will be able to buy one.

Too much doll in dollfie. A little too feminine for me at this stage. I'll give them a couple months to grow on me but not seeing it yet.

Yah.. know. I said I would resist buying one. I said I would. but, I broke down. I got an Illya Dollfie off Yahoo Japan. Was a bit pricey.. and am hating myself for breaking down. But seeing that wonderful Rin, made me decide I couldn't just have Rin.. So I got Illya, so when I get Rin, they won't be lonely ^_^. Makes total sense doesn't it.

Hopefully, I can get a Rin through Volks USA.. if not.. well there are other options.

Fate fan here,and to be honest,that dolfie fate is FAIL.The hair isn't really accurate.Plus bardiche sword is too short.Good thing that Rin Tohsaka and Clannad dolfies are somewhat nice.

Hm the optical eyes on the fate dolfies look kinda creepy here...how do I say this...it's like there's less life in them than the other dolfies featured....

This is it, I have just registered in Volks website. When the lottery open for Rin, I am going for her. Done. I am somewhat hesitating over Fate dollfie, somehow doesn't look right to me, her lips don't look right to me, and the wig seems too big.

As interesting as Dollfies are I seriously doubt I'll ever get one, especially when you consider how expensive they are.

Everyone winces about the price, but there are less expensive options out there for BJD's.
I got in a pair of 1/6th scale Obitsu dolls with the intent of using one for stop-motion animation. They come in a range of body types and have customizable (and replaceable) parts, (hair, heads, eyes, etc...) and they aren't nearly as ruinous on the bank account.
The Dollfie _are_ the premium brand, though.

You can also get the Obitsu dolls in the 30cm sizes too...

My biggest problem is finding clothes for Nattali Purrwell as no one seems to have the "Office Lady" skirt and vest combo I'm looking for...

Definitely would go for the Rin Dolfie and the Clannad one is rather cute.

I suppose I would count as one of the converted. Hated dolls with a passion - they creeped me out. I think it has to do a minor cause of childhood trauma associated with Victorian dolls.

Seeing Dollfies, though, made it just a dislike. Then came pictures of Dollfies with all their joints covered up and pretty eyes. Both sets of 'em.

Now...I admire them from afar. Don't really want one even if I could afford it (no display room anyway...) but looking at 'em is nice.

I ended up getting two dollfies: Kanu and Ryomou but it wasn't so much of a stretch as I already had a massive doll collection (pullip, blythe, azone, etc).

I am very tempted by Dollfie Fate.. I really want to get Illya next.
