I've noticed something looks like none of the Transformer toy packaging has Japanese

Ill see it if I hear from a few sources that its better than the first one. The first movie to me was "Shia LaBeouf, Starring: THE TRANSFORMERS!"

Watching it with my friends on next Sat on IMAX! We pre-ordered the tickets as soon as it went on sale ^_^ I enjoyed the first movie and now with Danny's approval, Revenge of the Fallen seems another bulls-eye, YEAH BABY!

2000 yen a seat?! I don't think I could ever convince myself to do that. It was only $14 for 2 seats here for a High-Def Theater when I went to see Star Trek with my girlfriend.

Could not agree more on watching a movie like this in IMAX! Saw Star Trek in IMAX and it was great (you should check that one out too Danny, great action and effects). I saw the trailer for Transformers 2 at the Star Trek screening and was impressed.

Mwuuuuh! Must...see...movie..! Liked the 1st one so i guess I'll love this one!

Was dissapointed with it as i've just come back from seeing it at my local cinema, the plot was paper thin really and although the action brought it back up from a low score (Giant Robots juking it out with each other, what's not to like?!?! lol) it wasn't enough to get it over an average rating :/ (Which pains me to say that, I've grown up with Transformers)

I flail in absolute frustration that it comes out on the 24th for us here in the states. The awesome thing though, is that I'm gonna get to watch it for free in IMAX. The Best Buy that I work at (BBY# 553 in Miami) has claimed the team name of Transformers for our district, so as a special meeting, we're having it at the premiere. We actually managed to rent out an entire theater, too. ^_^.

Well, about Optimus Prime looking Macross-esque, the original transformer toy line, was a mix of other transformable toys, including some VF Strikers from Macross. There is a character in this movie, that was this VF model, but due to concerns about the whole macross copyright thing in america, they made it look like something else :/

Can't wait to see it! And you should see Star Trek too, it's worth it as well.

Planning to watch it at midnight with some friends. I thought it would have come out here in the U.S. first. It's kind of surprising it's not.

Oooh, Figure.fm is looking better and better.
When I looked at the trailers, some of the action scenes did look just like pieces of scrap metal flying around the screen, twas confusing. I'm sure to watch this one when it comes out in Australia, although i'm not sure if i'll watch it at IMAX or not. To get to IMAX for me it's quite the effort and cost.

"Transformers: Die Rache" coming out on June 24th here. Gonna wait for an English HD file to watch it on the 52" TV. Can't even stand how they ruined the German title once more.

Saw it at one mintue past midnight last night! So awesome!!! I didn't get home until 3am! And I saw it again 7pm this evening! Could easily go again, it was that good!

I always wonder Japan always have the most beautiful design and vividly lighted shopping complex. I just love the lighting they put and use.

A to watch list though the first one was only considered decent. This trailer looked much more promising with Optimus requiring to use two of his swords instead of one from the first movie.

there is an imax here but its too very far off from where i live. will wait for the bluray releases. even if its going to take a year or so.

Wow.. 2000yen for a show. I can watch 5 shows with that amount in the best cinema at student pricing. Each ticket would only cost about 400yen.

I'm off to see it in about 3 hours, and am completely looking forward to it. Glad to hear good reviews so far, I can't wait to see it myself. Sadly, not in iMax, but then I don't know where the nearest iMax cinema is to me. Still, regular quality should be fine ^__^

Good to hear that you thought it was better than the first movie. Thinking back on the first one, it's a good popcorn flick, but I really dislike how Michael Bay shoots action shots. Unfortunately, this looks like much of the same as well, though at least the action starts early.

Well, I watched it today, and I think you hit the nail on the head. Brilliant film, plenty of action and straight from the get-go this time around. I loved it! <3

Personal highlights included "Decipticon humping" and Jetfire's random rants ("Oh bollocks.") Very enjoyable overall, can't wait for the third! xD

Screening for it only starts on the 24th of June here. Movie tickets in Japan seem to be really expensive haha. A ticket here only costs about RM 11 which is around USD 3.

There is only one IMAX theater over here. Haven't been to it though.

Was planing to watch it at IMAX but with the screen so big, I'm gonna miss out on most of the action. One of my workmates re watched The Dark Knight at his local cinema after watching it at IMAX for the same reason.

I'm skipping this movie much like I did with the first one. To me, this is just another live action giant robot movie. I personally feel that it would have still fared well if they went with the storyline but did not base the characters on the Transformers franchise. But unlike "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within", this movie is not hindered by saying it is a franchise-based movie when, in fact, it has nothing to do with said franchise. (Side note: That Final Fantasy movie should have been called "The Spirits Within" or something like that, remove the cliche plot ending, and they could have made a new franchise.)

But with Transformers, as a franchise, I think I will personally look for the G1 and maybe the Robots in Disguise stuff at this time. That is, if I can get back into it all. Because there is nothing better than Dinobots, Headmasters, and the like. :3

I loved most of it. Especially the ACTION. I'm a sucker for that, and my GOD SURROUND SOUND IS EPIC with that movie. Amazing effects.

Transformers was awesome!! ^^ I hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did and I think it may have topped the first one. also the action was a bit confusing, couldn't tell which part is which, or what kinda move is the autobot doing on the decepticon, slow motion was only applied on Megan Fox ;)

The only move that I remembered well is the moviment of the Megan fox's Breats at the first plane all the movie! I don't criticize it, but I payed for see a big mechanical weapons fighting each other,no to see Megan's Fox jumping all the movie.
But there is no other way, so this movie is an action movie, robot movie, maked clearly for guys to guys....

havent caught revenge of the fallen yet, tho its been out for quite a while haha

Didn't leave the movies felt like i wasted my money. But i was disappointed. The whole story progression of the first film worked, it was generic but made sense. This one, just a mish-mash, and in the action sequences there wasn't the same emotional connection of the first one, so i either didn't care or rooted for the bad guys (plus the cinematography of the action was worse than the first one). The first film had what i call "outloud "woah"" moments, none in this one. And the humour was really forced this time around. Or maybe i am just older.

But most of all, it doesn't FEEL like the Transformers i used to know. Especially the latest one.
