Ironically, Danny, I think there is one in my neck of the woods. Never went there myself, but there is a little shop that supposedly does a mini drive-thru convenience store bit.
Myself, however, now miss this one commercial that had shown a car driving into what (if I am correct here) I do recall being a deli. X3

Well at least he didn't try to do that with a car instead.

But then again, I thought I read somewhere that someone drive in with a car (by accident, of course)..I just forget where/which source is it... ^^;
I seen that happen to four different stores in my neighborhood. I guess they decided they needed a new window.

Hm I was a Mexico a couple years back on vacation and saw a drive in convince store in Aguascalientes(hot waters?) It was basically a dome shaped building with a street going through it and the items on shelves on either side. I almost crashed into too ^^; Yay for emergency brakes.

I think this is in Taiwan, with all the traditional chinese words on the advertisement.

unless Taiwan has family marts, i'm sure its the nature of Japanese advertising, to save space etc. should be a Japanese store, maybe someone really wanted to get some condoms quick?

Yup! That is Taiwan alright, that exact store is in Tao Yuan. I recognize that shop owner, but this pic must be taken a while back because that "Golden Porkchop Bento" has already past that promotion period.

There's actually a small drive-through convenience store chain in an area to the south of me called "Brew Thru", though they mainly sell various drinks and suovenir shirts rather than being a full-on convenience store.

I've seen someone try and take a scooter into a Safeway. The security guard at the door was none to happy about it. Neither were the police who were on their lunch break. Don't know if he got cited for anything but he did get escorted outside XD

How about a little carbon monoxide with your order? I used to have to take my BMX bike into stores with me back in the 1970s. My Mongoose BMX bikes, chrome version, team version, would vanish fast if left out front and places never had places to lock them up with chains. But I never rode it, usually carried it.

My friend has a cousin that works at a local convenience store in the area and about a year ago someone drove their vehicle through the front of the store. Fortunately, no one was hurt though the funny thing about the situation is that the person that drove in was the cousin's mother.

I didn't know motorcycles can go backwards, he's gonna be in for some trouble trying to turn out, that or he could walk the motorcycle out backwards, would have been easier to just get of his butt and walk in.

xD That'd be cool if places like that were hanging around in more places. Then again, most people in North America have a car, making that idea that much more impractical...

Lucky the guy tried this with his bike and not a car ;p. Shopkeeper doesn't look to happy wither though. Anways, in the US, if this were to happen, somebody would be behind the wheel of a car and be drunk when they did it or very sleepy.

When I lived in Michigan it was common to find drive in liquor stores, one was pretty close to the university of Michigan and it was set up this way because land is at a premium in the town.
Another was a few miles from where I lived for a while and even though it had a huge parking lot you could still drive through.
I'm not sure what the idea was that brought it about whether it came around because of the harsh Michigan winters or because people are lazy or both but both places have been in business for decades.

I hear they have drive-through liquor stores in some parts of the Southern US. I think it's more like a McDonald's drive through than like this place though.

I can't imagine why would anyone brought their motorcycle inside a convenience store...
maybe the conversation would go like this:
shopkeeper : "WHOA! What the hell?! No motorcycles allowed!"
the guy : "Please! I'm really in a hurry and it's a matter of life and death!"
shopkeeper : "What do you want?"
the guy : "do you have any Tenga that I can borrow?"
