LoL, danny I can't take you seriously when you're talking with your storm trooper gear on.

I didn't know what to expect because I first saw you on G4TV. Star Wars runs in the family so the dance trooper caught my interest. Being exposed to otaku life (from my sister) I wasn't suprised or afraid in any way.

I've been lurking this site for much longer then I've been posting but I never found it confusing or anything.

I actually thought your site was pretty user friendly. I didn't have any problems and was always interested enough to visit it multiple times a day. ^_^

It's amusing how half the people around Danny don't even give a thought about his storm trooper disguise, while the other half is gawking (btw kudos to you Danny for making the day to those people inside the stores with your dancing sk1llz ^^)

I actually liked the orange theme of Danny's site that's why it helped me navigate well. LOL
Weird, but I like the colors, really.

I was overloaded by the amount of information on the site when I first visited. It took me a while to figure out that I was not going to be able to go back and read it all from the very beginning hehe. After I decided that, the site became much easier to navigate ^_^;; So this was completely my issue and nothing wrong with site / design :)

I came here directly via a link to a doujinshi-related article ages ago (2006? 2007?), so I wasn't confused. I only began searching around the rest of the site this summer, though.

Hoping the YouTube Live footage gets online in a higher quality too, the one on Youtube currently is quite low res.

Huh, the site was a little confusing at first. But as I started coming more often, it became easier to navigate. Then again, I did look at all the menus and such to get a general understanding of everything. Don't know how many people out there really willing to do that.

I mean, of course i knew you're from UK... But, ya know... I never really imagined someone with Asian origin to speak in British accent.. lolol. With your high-pitched voice, i really thought that Wayne Rooney was inside the stormtrooper suit... lololol. btw, not in any way, am i saying that you speak in scouse... XD

I don't remember being confused, only happy to have found a site that shared the sites, sounds, language and customs of Japan with me. One instinctively knows when something is right, and DC.com felt comfortable. Then I found the figures, and I knew I had found my 'home' ^_^

first time here? dun remember too clearly but i remember the whole place was text and a few images here and there (was that 2005ish? iono ^^"). navigating was way easier back then. but we are the readers and i'd say we adapt to you site/blogging style as it 'evolves'.

The site navigation is fine, it didn't confuse me when I first visited, I came here with a purpose of finding the meaning of life & I found it here.

First time here, I was somewhat perplexed, but now as things change I adapt easily because things are like that.

"The Prince of Akihabara" has an interesting ring to it.

Man I cannot stop chuckling at the guy on the left side of the picture, the one wearing the teddy ears or whatever ears it is.

the site rocks it wasn't confusing at all. and I'm still new here its interesting i come back every day to comment and read the comments. looking at the figures is cool though I'm a bit broke to buy anything its still fun to look.

I feel right at home when I visited dannychoo.com for the first time, since it was right after my trip to Japan ^^; It filled the void I had from returning from Japan so to speak~

My first experience with the site, was a couple years ago. It's hard for me to remember exactly what I thought, but as usually when I go to a new site, it's a bit mysterious and very unfamiliar. I think the article that I was looking at that time was http://www.dannychoo.com/adp/eng/515/Tokyo+Property+Purchase.html Never really visited much than either. I think the only other time I had really stopped and read some DC articles was when http://www.dannychoo.com/adp/eng/509/Hokousha+Tengoku.html#comment373963 was posted. The was tricked into coming here on irc i think because of the oppai.

Anyways at those times, I never really understood the site that much, or really knew precisely what a blog really was, despite following one Anime Reviewers blog (momotato Daioh).

I was confuse when I came here, and also realized I discover gold!

I don't recall being confused the first time I visited. It was purely accidental the first few times I believe. Researching stuff. Came across varying degrees of cuteness lol.

I remember when I first visited DC.com, I didn't understand what you guys were talking about^^;... No knowledge of internet lingo...

I was confused at some things at first, like member news. Never saw something like that before. First thought was that "Oh its news for members only" ^^;;;
But got used to everything in 1 or 2 days.

I think of eyes when i hear boing boing ^^; DC was never confusing when i landed on the site.

Hmm, all I remember from when I first visited this site was "whoah! this dude knows his stuff! Gonna bookmark this site". No problems with navigating the first time. Of course, the site overall has refined since then.

The first time I visited DC.com I thought it was a team blog/site since there was so much content. (This was before member news btw)

Love the 'Boing Boing TV' name. Enjoyed the bit on wires and how Danny final sub-dued the Maid handing out tissues.

Danny did you ever think you'd be so awesome when you were older, lol. That video made my day.

I first visited DC through the Gundam article a bit over a year ago, and it's interesting because I had basically no interest in gunpla then and still don't. Didn't find things very confusing - there was a bit of confusion at first because I was browsing by categories - Japan, Stormtrooper, Gundam, etc. That's the main way the site was sorted then after all. I remember being a bit surprised to learn this was a blog - so far my experience with blogs had mainly been LiveJournal and Xanga, so this was an eyeopener.

Once I'd had more time and gotten an interest in everything, browsing through all the news at once made things much simpler. Made even easier by the design update awhile back.

I find it interesting how there's still people who are commenting on your British accent. Sometimes it's easy to forget that not all of us have been around that long. ^^;

Saw you on Boing Boing and thought anyone having that much fun must be worth checking out. Great site! I had gotten lost in work and all about ten years ago and had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed the culture and art central to this site. And yes, I believe that a Stormtrooper with an English accent, dancing in the streets of Japan, while showing Silicon Valley execs around, is actually more of what the world really needs about now.

That looked like some awesome fun showing those people around...When I first visited this site I thought it was pretty straight forward, although some specific stuff one might have had to dive deeper for it, but that was like over a year ago...lots of improvements ever since...

i've always been amazed at the design of dannychoo.com. there's so much information here, yet i find it very easy to move around and get to where i want to go.

the trip looks like a lot of fun. i wish i could go to Japan again soon.

first time i found DannyChoo.com it was the place i have been searching for a long time. from Star Wars stuff to Anime. there isn't a day that goes by that i don't come here at least 8 times a day ^_^

first time here wasn't really confusing. t'was about 2years ago and the first time i stepped into this site i found it quite easy to navigate. I was here mainly for the blog post back then and found it quite easy to look at since it dominated the front page back then. heheh!

I remember when I first ended up here. I followed a link from japanprobe. I didn't have problems navigating but I found the page weird. I mean I saw something I had never imagined... some guys playing with dolls o_O

Another thing that I thought was weird was some guy running around on a crowded public street dressed as a stormtropper just for the fun of it. I thought like "what is this guy thinking?"

Something made me come back though (I think it was 2D girls) and then I figured out what this is all about. It was just scary to someone who had never seen or heard about cosplay or figures before ^^

There is one thing I still don't get though. Why do people want to go to Tokyo? It's so crowded. I mean cut away 90% of the people and I would still consider it too crowded for comfort (at least for me) X.X

I've been visiting since a long time before the member news so it wasn't confusing, just a little overwhelming because of the 2D fanservice available xD;;;

I loved the video Danny, you have a nice accent x3 I always enjoy seeing you do your thing while stormtrooping or otherwise. They're always heaps of fun~ can't help but laugh, giggle or clap along, lol~

first off, let me tell you how much i admire your father danny ... he is a great humble man and he does asians a lot of honour ... but i also would like to tell you how admirable you are as a son. Trailblazing your own way and i see the pride in your father's eyes in his interview. He is very proud of you and so am i. Keep up the fantastic job stormtrooper!

Ahhh...the first time i made a visit was when i saw a link to your wonderful website. I had seen the name dannychoo before but never really crossed my mind to visit so overlooked it severall times when one day i finally decided to find out who this person is and why your name kept showing up in all my anime searches. I decided to become an official member and not just a lurker after you added the nosebleed function(hehe) and stayed for all the interesting articles and daily news posts about the going-ons in Japan and the world of fandom. As for it being confusing when i first visited, not at all, it was like finding a hidden gem.

Man, I wish I could join you guys on one of these activities. One of these weekends I am going down to Tokyo and painting the town red.

I'm new here, I "meet" Danny in his stormtropper videos, but I don't feel confuse in his site, nice video Danny, I hope meet in person some day.
