regarding the parliament where a bunch of people shout at each other regarding how the country should be run, our dear leaders don't do that. they speak politely on issues that need attention at the same praise how well the current system already is. politics.

I want to get into the video game industry as an artist. I've had a guest speaker from EA Mythic (*now just* Mythic) talk to a group I was in and he pretty much unfolded my destiny in front of me to see what I need to do.

I want to work somewhere in the media area. Hence I took a course named 'Software Systems for the Arts and Media' (Yes, mouthful).

When I'm looking for a job now, I get things like, web design (only). Well, thats from Jobsite though. UK is getting into a jobless crisis at the moment.

Danny, if you were to hire, what sort of position would it be? (other requirements is obvious like know multi-language and own at least 3 candy girls or 30 Dakimuras). Just curious.

Well, I know the nervousness before the talk. I myself have given numerous motivational talks to various companies. No matter how well you are prepared, you can never shake that feeling away.

The remote control is very useful. I personally use one that is made by 3M. Great tool indeed.

I usually never eat anything at least 5 hours before my speech as I'm afraid that I'm gonna vomit due to nervous or burp during the presentation or have a sudden nature-call ^^;

I'm already in the media-related field from all the movie distributors like Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, 20th Fox Century, United International Pictures etc etc...

I forgot Danny, go try Ya Kun Kaya Toast Set. It's a traditional breakfast set thingy we have here in Singapore. Can be eaten for light snack too.

- Half-boiled egg
- Kaya toast (Kaya is a coconut jam thingy)
- Choice of drink (Coffee, Tea.. normally I get Teh-O which means Tea w/o milk)

Used to work in Hollywood for a film producer, now I'm transitioning to internet media, CGM, etc.

I've always enjoyed conferences. There's a website called TED.com that has a large collection of talks. I find myself watching them and being enthralled - often more-so than when watching anime ^_^

I've also fallen asleep at seminars, I felt really bad doing so, but I simply couldn't keep my eyes open for the whole presentation ^^;; The last one I went to ran from 8:30am-9pm in the city for 3 days... it takes me over an hour to travel, never mind the extra time you need to get ready, especially for females xD;;

Wow! Just by looking at those pictures got me pretty interested in attending events such as like this one here in my country.
Also the old parliament building conference area is really something. Haven't seen that kind f setup before.

Naw......i'm more about the art industry. Anything to do with street art, graffiti art, silk screen printing, canvases, etc.

I was studying to go into game development, but I found out it was not for me, now I have to figure out what to do with my life again.

I really wanna work in the entertainment industry. Going into college to become an animator so I'm hoping that can take me somewhere. Maybe....anime industry!? o_O

Ah, it's Graham again who never fails to make his appearance in major events. Funny guy to listen to and an engaging person to talk to. He used to be a facilitator in my school and am pleased to see him doing his thang!

i want to work in the media industry also, internet and cell phone mostly, right now im a web design intern, its not really an entertainment company, just kinda non profit, community websites, but i am learning a lot, so its worth,i just hope to get hired and paid soon.T_T

I have tell you Danny, the more I read your articles like this one and others, the closer I get to starting my own business. Not so that I can go make speeches, but work with technology in a way that I want to.

I hide mine in makeshift folders that normal users will not go to (hide it in school related material that even I hardly use).^_^. Great work you did, wish I could have been there to listen to you all the way.

I used to hide ecchi stuffs on folders somewhere deep but now all the family members have their own PCs so I don't hide it anymore since we don't use others' PC much. I even clearly label my ecchi folder 'Hentai' -_- It doesn't get any obvious than that.

I hope you'll be able to put up the video footage of the talk. I'm quite interested about the things being talked about. ^^

Sure, I wouldn't mind working in media or Entertainment. Part of what I like about Web Development type work is it leaves one open to many possibilities. I like having work that allows me to step into other industries and fields of work. Most like it is because I have interest in many different things and the feeling of diversity in my career. Don't you feel your work with Good Smile is Entertainment related Danny? Certainly user generated Web Development is Media, as I see it... ^^

Right now I don't feel I'm getting everything I need with my CIS minor. I will continue to find ways to add to my skills as I always have in the past... I'm just excited to get to that part.

I know you have used IOSPIRIT apps in the past. I like how I can program behavior of specific app. function for the Apple Remote and other remotes as well as, control for any app. I want. Also there is a nice AJAX interface for iPod Touch/iPhone.
