Although I'm not a big fan of figma, I may give mirai a try. I just have one concern when I looked at the original 3D design posted last December. I felt her legs, particularly shinbones, appeared to be over-bent in those side views.

Hey Danny, Mirai's hair is kinda long, is it going to be segmented like Tsuruya and Konata? Also, will she have a figma stand hole in her hair like those two and Miyuki? If not, you may want to recommend it ^^ Also, you might want to see if they can hook up a *kira* hand as well ;)

I sure will order one if shes available from the places I order from. Ordering things direct from Japan isn't an option for me yet which is why I've been using Play-Asia with their no hassle order method.

All I can say is that getting Mirai into a Figurine is a truly AWESOME feat.

As an enthusiast of Japanese toys and models, I've been a long time reader of your website but have never registered until today. I felt I just had to say "Congratulations!" on what must feel like a bit of a dream come true.

I own quite a few Figmas and will definitely be adding the finished article to my collection. What better way to say "Thanks, Danny!" for all of the in-depth and informative articles concerning Japan and its wonderful idiosyncrasies?

Like many, I stumbled here a few years ago after searching for tips on Gundam modelling but now I visit almost every day and genuinely look forward to "A Week in Tokyo" and the other stories. It has helped to nurture a deep interest in the geography and culture of Japan that goes far beyond toys. Your New Year's piece about actually learning the language has inspired me to do just that.
