That is one cool Stormtrooper.. It is rare to see a shiny Stormtrooper anywhere in the Galaxy.. I will give the Clone Wars a watch when it comes out in cinemas here in Singapore.. ^^

I went to Celebration III in Indianapolis right before the release of episode III. It was such a fantastic event. Even the master himself was there. (George Lucas!!) If i could cosplay as anyone it would be Boba Fett, but the armor would have to be very detailed to suit me. It would be far easier, and still cool to go as one of the emperor's Royal Guards, or maybe a character from the etended universe.

Oh and least favorite of the films would have to be .....sorry i like all too much! Same goes for naming a favorite. I view it as one long movie myself. You should try to go for one day Danny. If its anything like the one in the States was it'll be worth your time.

I saw The Empire Strikes Back first in theaters, and then the original Star Wars on a Drive-In screen. After that, then I saw Return of the Jedi in theaters, and since then, those have been my favorites. RotJ is still painful to watch, the acting was wooden and the dialogue stale, but it was still fun. Of the new Prequels, I'd have to say that Ep 3 is my favorite. Episode 1 is my least favorite, being the most ludicrous of them all. But there are elements of that movie I do enjoy.

If I was to cosplay a character from Star Wars, I'd have to choose either a Stormtrooper or one of the bounty hunters, and no, not Boba Fett or Jango Fett.

danny, how to you wear the thigh armour? do it attach it to a harness? need some tips.

I only watched episodes 1-3. I didn't bother watching 4-6 because I can't stand the special effects of those times.

if i would to cosplayer a character from star wars, it would be a clone trooper. They look really slick in their different colour configurations.

When I was about 13-14 years-old my parents got me the original trilogy on VHS. I think I watched those 3 movies around 8-9 times each.

Then, when Episode I premiered i got a bootleg two weeks before it came out in Portugal, and saw in the cinema about 4 times... I was starting to watch the movie and actually noticing all the characters in the background! Eps. II and III have only watched once due to lack of time...

To answer Danny-san's question, if i were to dress up as a character i'd like a Jedi robe or a Mandalorian armor set (i like the Fett's, but i'd prefer to be unique rather than a character).

Hmm... to answer Danny's questions, yes, I've seen all the Star Wars films. They are a part of my life growing up and even today I enjoy them - my favourite film of all time being Empire Strikes Back. Yes, I would very much like to see Clone Wars at the cinema.
In the past I have cosplayed as a Jedi Knight, but if I had the time and money, I think I would enjoy being a Snow Trooper (being a snow-bound Canadian and all that). But I also like the TIE Pilot all-black jumpsuits.
...but am I the only one to see that silver storm trooper and think "by your command?"

No one bothered to introduce me to star wars until i was like 11. Which is a damn sin. Was a fan since then. Would love to cosplay as a trooper myself but i'm not nearly tall or thin enough to complete the look. Maybe i could be an x-fighter pilot. Apparently they aren't too strict on athletic prowess if they let Porkins onto the squad.

I'd love to cosplay as Darth Vader. He's just got the best armor. Gonna go see the new Clone Wars movie next month, too.

watched all star wars film and the cartoon version one..and star wars the clone war movie might just be mediocre for me cuz they already plotted out the story from the cartoon version, but i will watch it just to see what part of the saga (episode 1,2,3) it is coming from..the troopers in that movie looks good, some of the human especially anakin didnt blend in though, think its just me saying it @_@...it would have been cool if they made the animation like from the FF7 movie though hehe

I've seen all 6 movies but out of all of them I'd have to agree with most people that Empire Strikes back is my favorite. The worse? I'd have to say it's a tie between Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith. Jar Jar is just so horrible in the Phantom Menace. But Hayden Christiansen's monotone delivery of: "You underestimate my power" makes me just cringe. I'd say it ruins Revenge of the Sith for me.

For the Sliver storm troopers all you neeed is some grills and some chains! Also do not forget the spinners and streamers!

I have seen them all. Asking me which is my favorite is like asking me what pizza brand I think is best when it all tastes really dang good. I really liked all the episodes except Eps 1, that one ranks last in my favorites- if there is even a rank.

To me, worst Star Wars movie would be Phantom Menace. To be honestly, I think the latest 3 suck all together but Phantom Menace sucks the most out of them all. I remember when I was the Phantom Menace in the theatre I was mostly yawning or falling asleep :/

Everyone always cracks on about how terrible the first three are compared to the last 3. That might be true, but as a standalone trilogy, they're pretty good for their time.

Seen 'em all, both old skool and special edition. My worst hast to be attack of the clones, and the best is revenge of the sith, but only just behind is empire stikes back. I just love that lego falcon; tried to build one of my own many times but it always ended up too frail...

Seen all of the films. Empire Strikes Back is my fave. I think that Lucas screwed up the prequels. Should have let other people direct and write them. He has ruined the franchise. No doubt about it. The animation for The Clone Wars looks “off.” Not sure what it is. The original animation was a lot better.

I can't really decide which episode is my favourite, I like the old trilogy equally but I can definitely say that my least favourite would be Revenge of the Sith - a complete waste of 140 minutes of my life...

That silver Stormtrooper is quite original. I really like that shoulder/bib strap he has going. I've always wanted to have a Biker Scout outfit ever since Return of the Jedi. I hear it is one of the harder ones to authenticate.

I agree with everyone that the prequel trilogy was sub-standard when compared to the original trilogy. (well, except Vader getting burned and the Jedi Purge, that was spot on!) My favorite movie would have to be Empire Strikes Back! I wonder how out there are fans of the Expanded Universe though. There's plenty of goodness in ther.

I saw all of the movies except for the most recent one. My favourite must be ... hmmm... The original Star Wars or The Empire Strikes back. I saw all of the movies right when the first came out in the theatres. When Star Wars first hit the theatres, I remember my Mom & Dad waiting in line with me for what seemed like an eternity to get tickets. Seeing it that night was a life-changing experience, especially since I was just a young little boy. When the remastered version of Star Wars came out (what-- 15 years later?), I went back to that same theatre to see it again. If I were going to do cosplay, Star Wars probably wouldn't be my #1 choice, but I would definitely be Obi-wan Kenobi.

I've seen all of them, but I've never been a big fan. They're alright, but I doubt I'll ever bother to watch them a second time. I personally found the Star Trek movies to be better (though I'm not a huge of them either).

I have the 6 movies, yes, even 1 and 2, and my favorite is the return of the jedi (>_<) .

The custom made Vader helmets look kind of off. Cool stuff though, I've always loved Star Wars. My favorite Star Wars is without a doubt, Empire Strikes Back. The worst of the lot is easily The Phantom Menace. I have yet to have anyone tell me they like that movie, which is a shame because I liked Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon, as well as Darth Maul to some extent, but the rest of the movie was pretty bad.

When people tell me they haven't seen Star Wars... I deliver them a shift smack to the back of the head. DISGRACE!

I think I've watched all of the movies I think... LOL episode 1-3 have the nicest special effects but 4-6 completes the story telling part...

Woooooooow! That silver mechanical Storm Trooper of Death really Rocks. If I could cosplay one Star Wars character I wouls cosplay Chewie(mainly because Chewie is really tall like mine) but a decent Chewbacca custom is really hard to come by. (sorry for the mexican english)

I've only watched the old trilogy on television years ago. Even though I enjoyed those the Star Wars fever never infected me.

The worst Star Wars film I've watched so far was and odd kid's movie about Ewoks.

Seen all of the Star Wars films, and even the bunches of kids' cartoons that were spun off of 'em. I agree with Fabian 'bout that Ewok movie. That was painful to sit through.

My favourite is either the original Star Wars or RotJ. The original has the Death Star trench, and the last one's got a whole bunch of lightsaber fights, space battles, and the underdog victory. It also has Leia in a bikini, but that's just icing on the cake.

I want a set of Clone Commando armour. That one's like the normal Clone armour but with the kick@ss up a few notches.

The metallic stormtrooper is just so wrong! Imagine your gundam become this color. lol

I've seen all of the Star Wars movies, but if more are made, I don't know if I'll watch. The quality of the last 3 movies aren't as good as the first 3 ones. I hear that the Clone Wars is a CGI movie, so maybe I'll watch it. If only to see how they pull it off:P

Yesterday I was given the privilege to be 1 of the very first people to preview the upcoming Clone Wars collector toys by Hasbro & Lego, it is schedule to be release only by next weekend ^^

Dannys making my head hurt :( i dont know which of the 9 star wars films i like best, yes 9, count them all in proper order. episode IV episode V episode VI episode 1 episode 2 episode 3 episode IV, V and VI remastered. i liked both the ending of star wars except when anakin was a kid in the remastered edition. ive seen on youtube a version someone made where he goes from the old anakin to the kid anakin. the red sun episode was quite emotional when he is lookin out to the suns song: binary sunset i guess the film i liked best would be episode VI orignial. those ewoks are cute ! lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1BO8ABjiig

I've seen all 6 of the movies. I'm not sure on an exact favorite, but I like the prequel trilogy most. I know a lot of people who like the first 3 more than the newer ones, but the prequels came out when I first started getting into the geeky Sci-Fi/Fantasy culture so I think they had a bigger impact on me.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Clone Wars too.

After so many years, I still think that episode 4 - 6 is still the best in Sci-Fi type of movies. Not much Sci-Fi movie can produce such intensive war scene like Star Wars episode 4 - 6. I don't really like 1 - 3 because the CG made me feel it's "fake" (or maybe I've seen too much movies using CG & get bored with CG)

I've watched all the movies, I have the right age to be a Star Wars fanboy... yet I'm not.
Like, the pics I liked the most are the ones from the AKB48 girls... and I'm not even a fan of them. :P

But I do sympathize with the whole convention thing... awesome stuff.

My favorite movie would have to be episode 5. Best movie in the star wars saga I have to say. And I would agree with some here. the first three (4-6) are the better than the newer trilogy. And for its time they had the best effects ever. to think it was about 30 years ago.

Bought original 3 on tape, have to get the remaining on DVD. I prefer the originals any day, even if they look ancient now.

Honestly, I don't like Star Wars. I'm a devoted anime fan.

I was a huge Star Wars fan when I was little. I was so into it that once I cosplayed Darth Vader. There was something like a costume ball back in primary school. It was really cool! My dad helped me make a mask. For the helmet we used a big bol, wrapped up some wet paper, let it dry and colored it in black. Unfortunately, I didn't have a cape so I used his jacket and I was wearing gym shoes. Some punks made fun of me saying:
- Wow! I didn't know Dart Vader wore gym shoes!
Yeah, it was fun... and hot in that costume!
