I prefer pink hair too, but that light shade of brown is fine too. I think it's good as long the uniform is not orange & white. If it is kind of just makes her a younger mirai or a clone.(Yea, they are sisters, but I find it better if the younger sister has features that differentiate from her sister as much possible. That will help her to stand out more)

Take some Time Out .. chest pains could mean either stress or angina. Visiting a doctor for a check up might be a good idea if it's not too costly. Or just get plenty of sleep and rest and see how it goes. Last time I had mild chest discomfort, I ended up doing a Coronary Heart Bypass Graft (CABG). But I am sure you're probably just tired. Looking at Mirai's sister reminds me that I have to resume working on my comic..

Anyways, I love the light blue uniform version. As for the hair color, a character's hair color depends on his/her attitude. IMO, a pink haired girl is sweet and hyper (except Lacus: she's not hyper at all) , while light brown haired girls tend to be wise cracking or serious.

All work and no play. I like anime colors! She should be different.

Her head looks a bit crooked to me..

As for our little imouto, I'd prefer if she did get a name, although I'm not really insprired as to what it should be...doesn't need to be creative per se, though. For the hair I think pink is great here, although for 2D girls in general any type will do as long as it matches with the girl.

Anime hair colors for me. The first one up top with the pink hair is really nice. But then again, purple is nice too. But then again, orange...I don't know. Don't listen to me.

I'm a bit on the fence regarding anime coloured hair vs. natural coloured hair. I guess anime colour is cool if you don't go too rainbowy just for the sake of making characters look different.

Mirai's sister progress is looking really nice. I actually like the "blocked" colours in pictures 'miraisisterprogress6.jpg' and 'miraisisterprogress10.jpg' rather than the default one (me thinks someone is influenced by Lala quite a bit from "To Love-Ru"...)

Lookin great so far, but can't pick a uniform though. As long as She has the pink hair, it's all good, haha.

I'll again be in the minority and wish for natural colors for hair. If Mirai-chan did have light brown one, I don't think that pink or anything more anime-related would fit the bill... You know, it would be like if the little sister permed her hair constantly/permanently.
Now, if Mirai-chan had green, pink, blue or purple hair, I wouldn't say anything.
To say more on that, I liked Minami-ke for that also, all characters had natural colors (dang, I can't use Kanon or Clannad as point of reference because one or two characters have a special hair color), a bit refreshing compared to other anime series.
Finally, for me, nothing was more irritating to hear than "Kyon's imouto", especially with such cuteness for a character. It is as if the writer's brain kept freezing or pulling a huge "No!" sign when trying to name this character (I would understand why Kyon's true name is still unrevealed and may never be at this point, but heck, his sister doesn't even have a nickname!).

Nice! Typically, since Mirai-chan has natural colored hair, I'd say her sister should too.

But then again, anime colored hair could hold a subtle meaning~ anything from being a half sister to having hidden powers! ^_^;

I think the younger sister looks very much like a clone from her elder sister. I would suggest a little bit change in the hair style because the face shape is same.

As for hair colour, since the face give a cheerful and cherry aura yellow, light aqua blue or orange suits better. Red and pink more lovely dovey.

I would vote black, white or brown. White is considered natural colour I suppose, since albinism causes white hair to happen.

I think I like the third picture's colors a lot. As for hair colors, it probably depends, but I don't think any of them look horrible.

Easiest way to get data off a laptop hard drive is to take it out. Get a usb 2.5 hard drive enclosure and connect the laptops drive to that. Instant external hard drive that functions as a removable disk drive. We do this a lot when moving laptop users to a new image. You can move 20 GB of data pretty darn quick.

I don't know, but I love blond hair girls in manga/anime. But I don't think it would work for her. Normal hair would be cute if her hair was a bit different. Nah, I like a light brown just a little more then the "rusty red" hair. So.. Um.. Err.. Go for the light brown, it's not out there but cute!

A nearby Apple store should be able to pull all the data off that drive for you. Or swap the drive into a similar MBP and get it.

As for hair color, it depends on the character. For example, Washu would never look right with normally colored hair, while Mihoshi could never be anything but a blond. (Yes, kind of a limited example, but you get my meaning.)

Pink hair or anime colors are best. You want to capture the fantasy element of it unless you are doing a dark anime in which black or blue is good.

The 5th illustration from the top is I think the best. I love anime hair colors and the best that I always seem to like are long purple hairs and green short hair (like 2 inches above the shoulder kind of short). ^^ Can't wait for the final image.

About Mirai's Sister-chan hair... I can really say which color, but a good option would be choosing based on her personality.

I think certain hair colours look better on different characters. A sort of crazy, lively character would have something like pink or lime-green hair, but a more quiet, gentle girl would have naturals like brown or blonde...

The pink hair one is cute...i think she should be refered to as "mirai's sister". It sounds cool that way. :3
