Looks like you're starting something really cool Danny.
You should go to see Sunrise, Gonzo or Bones :D
And it'd be nice to see the Gundam office, though I dunno if thats even doable.

Danny, Awesome Awesome videos. I believe you can still put iMovie HD on your Mac if you have the iLife install discs, btw. I recommend Final Cut Express though if you want to have more control in your video editing. I'm working with Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro while editing a DVD project for a local Theatre Group. LOTS of stuff involved, but I'm learning a lot, too. Say, you wouldn't need a Video Editor or media Specialist would ya? ;-)
On the English books, those books were hilarious. When I visited Japan in October of last year, I was presented with an English Colloquialisms book and asked to help explain some of the phrases. There were more than a dozen that made no sense in English. It was an eye opening experience to say the least.

LOL Mari-Tan. Yes, I have that book together with the listening CDs. If anyone is interested in getting that book, use Rapidsearch (Google it) and then use the keyword 'Mari-Tan'. It might be around the third result.

Hell yeah Mari-tan!
On a side note, would love to see you visit an Eroge studio ^^;

wtf with the english vocab learnt...but i guess the easiest way to learn a new language is to learn its foul words first..
speaking of that danny, you should have an otaku dictionary function where you can archive all the otaku words that you have on your site - make it easy reference for us
and oh..about the coverage - a coverage on the dutch wife would be great..muakakakakak
a guy who cares (sort of...)
OMFG... english teaching books simply blew my mind. The dolphin care products with tissues were hilarious too. Keep up the good work Danny, your videos are fantastic :). BTW I listen to Utada latest album too much, I could swore that in the last few seconds of the video I heard 虹色バス but probably it's only my imagination and poor hearing....

Nice video tour once again! I like very much. Please keep it up!!
I've put in my vote for manga studio, just because manga is my first love. Although I'd seriously be interested in any of the others really. Eroge company would be really interesting and so would an anime studio or a games company.

Buying a figure is like getting a pet; it was made with TLC and you have to give it TLC.
Those MS figures are simply amazing.
I'm pretty sure the tissue box just happened to be besides the magazines; at least, that's what I've deluded myself into thinking. XD
I wish I could have been taught English the magazine way. What kind of magazine teaches someone to square their @55 away(is it even physically possible XD) and sh!+ Tiffany Cuff Links(whatever they are)?

Ahh! The 2nd part of the GSC tour was amazing. I'm really loving these informative tours, you learn so much off of them.
Oh, and LOL @ the Enlish for Otaku book. I want that book. Haha.
As for the poll goes, that's pretty hard to decide as office tour vids for most of the choices your making us pick would be amazing to see! Now I'm anxiously awaiting the next vid! Thank you so much again, Danny! :D

Thanks for the tour

Danny, the Slash zaku phantom showed at 6:01 in the film, is that one of those MSIA or an actual model kit?
if it's a kit, could you ask how they got that slash lance? Because all I've seen so far is a no grade 1/144 version, which did not have such a lance, unless something happened in my absence :P

I'd actually be most interested in office tours of internet businesses like Amazon. That or anime companies. BONES or Ghibli would own so hard.

wow! cool GSC office tour danny ^___^
Aki-san needs some subs =3
but at least your post described what he is saying and that's informative ^^
i wonder what kind of material that they've used for their prototype and the type of plastics that they use ^^
so that's how long they've developed the figma series ^^

btw...lol @Maritan book XDDD
do they actually use that or is it just for lolz XDDD
ひきこもり/Hikikomori. Suits my current state more than a 大学生/University Student. ^^
Anime company Danny!
And me suggests to start with J.C. Staffs as they are producing considerably popular blabla <insert all logical reasons here>.
No really it's because I'm currently watching Shakugan no Shana II. ^^
Would love to see how they produce Shakugan no Shana..

Say... if you were to visit Kyoto... Then KyoAni is the must-visit holy spot ^^
J.C. Staff seems good too. We want to see Shana animated!
Maybe Leaf(eroge) would be great as well. How about Google Japan? (If there is)

Maritan in the GSC offices!! Good stuff!!
My fave quote went something like "Holy shit!! Only steers and queers come from Texas and you don't look much like a steer so that narrows it down!"
Really liked their professional workspaces too. Should really get one of those extractors for when I paint, but my current setup works well enough.
Non-profit org. volunteering work addict
Great video as always.
I see they promote very refined English there. LOL!
A newbie's question... Upon seeing Figma Saber, I was wondering if they ever created a limited edition of Saber with metal plates on her armor.
Any future coverage on industries would do, but you doing an anime studio coverage would be my top preference, followed by an eroge one (would the latter be considered as NSFW?)
Art student
http://ohcirnine.wordpress.com
Here's some eother/eroge companies/groups I want to see covered in your news, Danny:
1. Leaf
2. stage-nana (group that created Narcissu)
3. Little Wing (group that does music for eroge)
4. Team Shanghai Alice (for the epic win, a group behind the Touhou series)
5. TYPE-MOON
6. Nitro+
7. KID/Cyberfront
8. Root (CARNELIAN's eroge company)
9. Cut A Dash! (Misato Mitsumi's doujin circle. She does the artwork for Leaf eroge)
10. Aoi Nanase
11. Cave (company that does danmaku games)
Sorry for the long list, but covering companies is a golden opportunity, I tell ya.
College Student
"4. Team Shanghai Alice (for the epic win, a group behind the Touhou series)"
It's essentially one guy (ZUN) behind the whole thing--art, programming, danmaku. He's a beer-powered shmup machine. I doubt he has an office outside of his home.
Art student

DCG:
Exactly. Then again its a perfect opportunity for english-speaking Touhou fans.

Thank you for this posts, it's great to see the inside of the companies that work so hard to please anime fans ^^
I also can't imagine working in something unrelated to anime/manga, so I'm actually keeping a sharp eye to these posts in particular. I would love the hear about job opportunities too!
Pre-Press Technician
I dunno if anyone can help me out here, I've been searching google for a bit with no joy. I was just wandering where I can learn more about the process of how figures are made? What kinda skills are needed to get into the trade and things like that... just out of interest really!!
Student
I want to live in their studios haha
so much figures
Looks like a heaven for figure lovers
Now I see why Japanese speak English so strange
