    Ya, I study in a comfortable room at home.Magazine rack holds various Art/Videogame/Anime magazines for lounge reading, and my shelf with an assortment of Manga and books. Figures stand around the room, and my work desk has a nice feel to it. Unfortunately, we're going through renovations on the home, and the younger brother is bunking in my room for the time being; the biggest annoyance you've ever met, and a slob at that.

    140000yen for a puppy? OMG!
    And to think my cousins are giving away (to selected costumers though) 5 puppies for free right now... (their dog gave birth to 8 little puppies on Xmas day).

    Anyways, nice post! Love 'em.

    Wow, that is a nice looking office space. Really interesting cubes too. You can tell these are fun and hard working people. Always the best kind of environment to work in and people to work with. I'm lucky, no cube for me. I have solid walls and a window too! Only wish we had more color in our office. Bad part is too many people are up tight and always worrying about something. I really worry about some of them...
    Work office is still better than the small drab and cold place I call home. Most apartments in Japan feel bigger and more inviting than where I am. I miss the trees and wildlife from other places I have lived. In the end I can't complain too much, I own the place where I live. No mortgage for me.

    I've looked at their blogs before, some really interesting people. Darn, it must be really interesting and fun to share some time with people like this! I would be like a BIG sponge in that room. ^^ Look forward to the day when my Nihongo improves and I understand more of what they write.

    That is a nice poster... Looks like Mayumi Sada. Maybe that's because i have been watching Hataraki Man for the all week. ^^;

    Read something about Eye-Fi before. Sounds interesting if you need to move files directly to a photo service.

    With all the maintenance and the rebuild you went through with the armor, you could build and sell your own.

    Looking forward to more on the Sony device.

    Err... me in talkative mood this evening. ^^;

    @Benjamin Takeyo: I believe its better in terms of:
    - big ass cubicles
    - studio like environment with down lights (not like typical offices)
    - individual adjustable table lamps
    - see thru metal cubicles LOL
    - you can bring whatever you like to office LOL (see baseball bat, hanging frog etc)

    well, those are the differences compared to my office ;__;

    Yup! Penn State has some of the greatest labs to work in on campus. I also enjoy the library and the dorm rooms- very snazzy and modern.

    I also attempt to make my dorm room a nicer place to study and as snazzy as possible- being surrounded by (some) anime figures, my models, wallscrolls and TV for anime =D.

    I would say our campuses facilities are more than adequate: There is a photo lab in the library installed with Photoshop, scanners, programs like that for photographers, and they also have Solidworks in that room- an engineering program I use. I can also print out anything I want in a respectable quantity for free (my tuition pays for it- if I want to print say, 500 pages, I could) and copies are on the cheap too. The library is a great resource- being connected to the main campus library as long as a book is in I can get it sent to our satellite campus. The labs are great too- we will be adding a new facility to house engineering activities (classes maybe?) and I believe we are going fully solar for all buildings by 2010 or 2011.
