I still remember one of the figures my friend's bro had of her...complete cast off. And he was SO happy about it he locked himself in the room for one WHOLE day...gawd knows what was he doing..=.=

Very nice. I'm not even familiar with this character, but I've seen a couple figures of her. Only thing is her loose socks look kinda weird. Not sure what, they're just strange

I love those loose socks - many school girls used to wear them until the became out of fashion ToT. Maybe Kanu will help them come back in to fashion ^^;

About Ikkitousen... same as Danny.
I watched the first episode, was kinda overwhelmed by the fanservice-only content, ended up dropping it.

I almost dropped Tenjou Tenge for the same reason... I got it like a couple of days after watching Ikkitousen.

Luckly I didn't drop it... though I still don't like that much the "normal timeline" with Souichiro and Bob, the story about Shin Natsume was awesome.

Never seen, but the figure looks top notch :)

I've followed both seasons and Kanu is my favourite character ;)

One of the reason would be cos I love the "Romance of the Three kingdoms" that Ikkitousen is based on and Kanu is the equivalent of Guan Yu.

gah, there's too many figures that i want to get, but i'll be picking up an HDTV tomorrow morning, so i'll be broke for a while before i can afford anything else...

Alter do make very nice PVC kits but I'll probably give this a miss.

Still trying to find a Ryoufu Hosen figure which makes me go WOW!! then I'll think about kanu...

i love the manga for it... and the first anime season of Ikkitousen was terrible. Dragon Destiny was so much better. the main reason i stuck with it though was because it was based off of romance of the three kingdoms.

same with Danny, i've watched the 1st episode but the sheer number of fanservice is one of the reasons on why i've dropped it but i wouldn't mind picking it up again lulz

Waaaii~~ I love Ikkitousen! Danny you should keep watching it, it will get better. If a girl like me likes it, you might also. What I like about Ikkitousen is it´s story and characters. Unlike at every other anime, Ikkitousen treats it´s characters pretty badly. You never know who´s going to die next.

And how can I hate a series where´s yuri?

This Kanu figure is one of the best I've seen so far. Will certainly get this one (but 7k JPY seems a bit expensive...)

Even though the price is steep, i will probably get this, the likeness is too good to pass up.

Apparently has a 15+ rating so there is speculation of castoff, but that might just be because of the weapon.

I have never seen this show before, I am just now about to finish Baccano, so I shall deff. look at this. As for the panty shots all the time, im not a guy who gives a damn about it. I mean, if the show is good, then idc.

So many of her! But I agree, for this 1/8-scale, this is one of the finer Kanu figures I've seen.

Haha, Danny, u definitely have the power to create "guilt", but I'll have to stand firm with the skimpier 1/7-scale LTD DX version ( http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10065183 ) that I pre-ordered just two weeks ago. ^_^;

As for Ikki Tousen and Dragon Destiny, I agree there are lots of panty shots, but not so different from the skimpy Sky Girls uniforms. The historical structure doesn't provide the strongest plot in the world, but the bloody battles can be pretty engaging. Not the most fulfilling story, but definitely entertaining enough to pass the time at work. =)

Man, Quite a few ppl have said that they consider this figure too expensive at 7k yen!! I wonder what that makes me with my Yoko kits coming in at 8k and that's considered really cheap because it's mass produced?
heck, the exelica figure from alter is on my watch list and that's double Kanus pricetag!

Which begs the question, what do people consider to be a fair price for kits/figures? Lets just say that mine is quite high!!

Panty shots? You should watch Ikkitousen's DVD special. You wont see any panty shots. You see real skin.
BTW, we are still wondering whether this one will be a castoff one or not. And becareful with the weapon she's holding. The end looks mighty sharp to me.

I love the Ikkitousen girls, hot women with big weapons, ja,ja, is like paradise!! And this one for Kanu(Guan Yu)is wonderful. Thank Alter for other masterpiece... May I ask for one for Sonsaku(Sun Ce)?

Didn't care for the show, but the character designs do make for some good figure. That said, I don't care for this one. ^^; Do like the loose socks though... I think the loose leg warmers are more vogue now.

I'm not fan of Ikkitousen, in fact i don¡t see ecchi anime series even if the story is good.
But i need to say that figure is amazing.

I watched Ikkitousen and didn't like it really. Too much and stupid fanservice. However I do like Kanu's character. I already own the Yamato figure. But yeah this figure looks amazing...

That is an awesome pose. Nice sculpt on the face too. But the detailing on the torso looks odd...

This figure is quite nice...though I have to say the thighs feels a bit odd...

Not a fan of Ikki Tousan but I do like some of the figures that come from the series, especially the Kanu figures. This one looks nice and would go great with my gothic lolita Kanu.

Yeah, I am! I love it! The first part of the serial was my first anime dvd. So, Hakufu is my first big love :-D

The Anime isn't that good, so i feel after seeing it, but some of the Figures from the Characters are having a really lovely look. These Figure here too, so i decided to order her.
It have some ... style, i think. (and it's not the panty)

It's one of my favs, too.
Luckily i had my "yeah fanservice"-phase when starting with season 1 because otherwise i may have dropped it at some point but it became really good.
Probably being a fan of fighting-anime helped.

The story is a bit so so but at the end of season 2 i were really depressed for the rest of the day after the ending scene with Kakoton.

Ps: I prefer Ryofu Housen not Kanu
