LOL, I've never ordered anything online before...
    @Danny
What sites do you usually order from? And how do you know if that person you're ordering from is not like your good friend costumejunkie? For now I'll just do things old school, go out and buy it myself...

Lol, don't worry about making too much posts Danny. It makes your usual readers all the more happier. ^^ anyway i get most of my stuff offline. My lastest catch would be a akatauki mishiro, 2 speed grade gundam and a HG dendrobium. ^^

    lostandfound,
Most of the online stores in Japan are pretty honest.
Most of my stuff is from Amazon or Rakuten.

I always order my stuff online as they tend to be either cheaper or always have the good stuff offered early. Good things are difficult to come by in my place. If there are good stuff, it'll likely be a lot pricier than those found in online shops.

OOOhhhhh.... I want that Mai PVC on your desk Danny ^^ Gimmi Gimmi!!

I tried once online with Animewild.com and they never looked at my order, so I gave up on that. And I tried HLJ recently, pre-orded Rei (Shunya edition) I will wait and see how is the service and everything. And I also compared the price, gunpla is about the same price as my local retailer, but PVC they are at least 10-20 canadian dollars cheaper. I am waiting to get a new job and hopefully increase my collection. so far Needa is the must buy one ^^ Danny, you should visit GoodSmile more often and see when they gonna release Needa :D

I'd love to buying online but here where I live online shopping is still under alpha development or it's not available in many cases. Therefore, I am buying offline and so happy when I get lucky and find something cool. If any of my friends from abroad would come and visit me, they would bring some stuff for me.

If I am to buy a Figure or Japanese import, of course, I’ll have to order online, for what store am I going to find those at here. If I am going to buy Laundry Detergent, then I’ll make that trip to the store, I cut down on the shipping price and I get outside, away from the house/work for awhile.

im a student so im used to little money (if that) and i live in sweden so the tax on products is like 25% on everything, so im not used to go on spending sprees. Is it different in japan? when buying electronics, toys and anime? also, how does it feel growing up, because i'll soon be in an "adult" so im guessing alot of responsibility is involved, how does buying alot of stuff work with planning the future?

sorry if it sounds rude or anything, thats not my intention, i am just curious, cause my views on adulthood involves alot of spending on toys (for me)

nice haul danny. and to answer your questions, I do most of my figure and anime purchasing online, mostly from amazon, HLJ, and some other places, I also have a friend that lives in japan and I get him to buy me some things and ship them over, usually a lot cheaper that way.

ps. would've prefered a red mai, I think her traditional colors look much better on her

    ???Confused???

I usually buy online as a last resort usually because the shipping is so expensive when tacted onto the price and I like to check out the merchandise for any defects in person before purchasing...

but anyways, does anyone know when figures are released in the U.S.? It seems that figures get released in Japan first then releases later in other countries...I was hoping to know when I can get that Mai figure...any tip is appreciated...

    Silent 1134,
As soon as they are released over here they usually become available on online stores for you to get in the US.
