アイスクリーム入りラーメンが北千住の菊やで食える。その他に牛乳ラーメンやコーヒーラーメンも。

I'm eating as I was reading this...@_@ At first, I thought it was just some kid playing with his food and Danny taking a picture for us as a joke. Didn't believe it would be real though. I mean, I've heard of experimenting with Ramen, but I didn't expect this. Then again, if there are "exotic" flavors of ice cream (i.e. squid), then I don't see why they can't do something with ramen.

I don't have Ramen all that often, primarily because most of my family hates Japanese food, so I only go with friends once or twice a month... when I do go, I often order ramen though.

I tended to eat instant noodles (including ramen and udon) very frequently in the past. I gave up on it and eat some in very exceptional cases (mainly when I don't have anything else to eat). My alternative? Pasta (think fibers!).

Ice cream ramen? Seems a bit disgusting to the eye, but why not? I wouldn't try though, thank you.

I prefer to put jasmine rice, chopped salad and maybe some meat (chicken bologna for some novelty, anyone?) in my soups (both western and eastern styles... miso soup is royally good with (only) rice added, trust me), it adds a lot of consistency and some more flavor.

Ice cream in ramen makes me remember of Orihime Inoue (Bleach, yup), who tends to be fond of odd mixtures (red bean paste in particular).

lovetanime, you have to choose the right brand of instant noodles to fully enjoy them.

Some examples include: Sapporo Ichiban, Maruchan (Never tried), Nissin noodles (Cup Noodles being one of my favorites) and Neogiri (this one is Korean).

Oh and I forgot to mention that pasta has become my staple food (though it is part of a healthy diet poor in fat and rich in fibers). ;)

I like ramen a lot and love to try some more flavours. Went to the ramen museum in Yokohama, but only ate at one of the 9 ramen shops there.
But is it me, or what, but every time I wanted to eat ramen, I couldn't find a ramen shop... (same goes for a kare raisu shop). Therefore, the more of these I know, the better for next time ;p
There is a food chain called Wagamama, that has a shop in Antwerp here, and I like going there to eat some ramen or something else. It's the only place that has many Japanese-type of food, while other Japanese restaurants usually have only certain specialties, while Wagamama has also more of the Japanese "fastfood" :)

Looks kinda weird, specially when you just throw the ice creams with cones directly into the ramen, but I'd try that.
You never know how good it gets until you taste it.

I tasted great combinations on sushis here in Brazil also... japanese chefs likes to mix traditional sushi ingredients with local stuff, and you do have great results.

But it's hard to beat a real traditional japanese food set. Even more when it's the real traditional local stuff, like the ones they serve on Onsens.

I'm not too big on ramen but whenever we go to a restaurant that serves delicious ones, I order that instead of my usual donburi.

I don't think I'll try eating ice cream ramen anytime soon though..

i went to shibuya once, me and my friends went to this ramen restraunt. some ramen cost over 1,000 yen from what i remember of. it was good. the only thing that i didnt like about it was that it looked tooo oily, but it was still good even though i promised myself to never eat japanese ramen again and eat korean ramen instead

Not traditional Ramen, anyways. Noodles in general make up the bulk of my meal, since a couple of kilos costs less than a pint of beer. Tis most awesome.

ice cream in ramen may not be as disgusting as most people think. I used to put milk in my instant ramen lol. Maybe if you put something like orange sherbert or rocky road or something, but vanilla might actually be pretty good haha

Then again, this is comin from a guy who used to eat school lunch burgers with fruit rollups, and mcdonald's chicken sandwiches with chocolate/vanilla ice cream bites lol

Eating ramen is a rare thing for me since I get meals for the fist year of college. It might become more frequent once I'm living outside the dorms. And ice cream with ramen sounds nasty because ice cream is sweet and cold while ramen is salty and hot...

We use to have a decent ramen shop around Madison (Though thankfully they did not serve it with ice cream). ?Unfortunately it must have gone tits-up since they moved to the outskirts of town and became a crappy gas station restaurant. Havn't found a suitable replacement since.
