It's from a novel, set 1 year (or 10?) from char's counter attack.

The unicorn is the basic mode of the gundam, the 'destroy mode' is when it forms the form of the gundam we all know and love ;)

I wonder how they will work the head transformation in the plamo, separate headpieces? From the price, I'm hoping for a workable mechanic

Good choice Danny, I totally prefer Unicorn over Destiny. I say that Unicorn is a "man" Gundam while Destiny is a boy Gundam LOL, I just say this because I like Unicorn more than Destiny.

Unicorn is too cool, infact I am saving money just for 1/100 Exia and MG Unicorn when its out.

As a matter of fact both Unicorn and Exia will most likely make its mark in Gunpla history since Exia features MG like articulation and Unicorn features Armor shifting.

Planning to get OYW Gundam together with Unicorn when it's out in Dec. might consider to add in HG Gundam Exia. Pretty impressed with it from all the reviews & pics I've seen so far.

neither actually, if I had to pick one it would be the unicorn looking one.

It looks like it needs help in the color scheme department- The white exterior is fine but the magenta/pink and the yellow just don't agree, sort of like a gender issue for Gundams.

Can we please go back to kick ass mecha that make you say "I wouldnt screw with that!"?

Gundam Unicorn really isn't my style of Gundam. To be honest, I would rather have a MG Nobel Gundam than the Unicorn. I also think the Tallgeeses (I-III), the Victory Gundams and the 0083 Gundams are all better looking examples of Katoki's work than Unicorn.

As for the question, though I'm not particularly fond of either Destiny or Unicorn, I'll give the edge to Destiny solely based on that I enjoy CE Gundam more than UC Gundam.

I saw this at one of my favorite eBay stores recently and thought it was tight as hell.

Now, please forgive the noobish question, as the only model kit I've ever assembled was an Armored Core snap-fit set, but can anyone tell me if this Unicorn Gundam requires cement to be completed?

I ask, because I do have the patience to build a kit, but I seriously don't want to have to deal with cement. Too big of a mess, I think. ;x I had to do some minor glue application on the AC model and it was a bit of a bother.

Also, looking at the general color scheme of Unicorn, I doubt I'd need paint. :p
