    That spot where the new sofmap is was a different building, then a crater, then a construction site each time ive been to japan over the last year and a half. Its finished already! Have they finished that construction by AsoBitCity yet? Wonder what it is...

    Yeah - i nabbed a boatload of eroge flyers too - a good source of 2d 'eyes' without the embarrasment of basement hentai hangouts...

    Nice to see a Mandarake showing up in the place it deserves to be! Their shibuya and Nakano stores are huuuuuge.

    One thing for sure, Akiba never gets old. I wonder if the place will become all electronics again... It is a shame to see the small shops getting pushed out.

    Why can't construction be like that here? We've been building a 2 story hotel down the street from me for nearly 2 years. o.O

    That's a shame if all the smaller otaku stores are shut down, you might get better deals there compared to the big companies.

    If there's one thing that is certain in this new world is that small companies tend to "die" or be bought by big ones and then in its place a new one is born.

    I really need to go there someday, making arrangements for 2010 ^^

    But being stalked by a maid is quite appealing...*fantasises*

    i'd rather be hunted down by a gorgeous girl as long as it is for love, passion and affection rather than i owe her something XDDD

    the face of akiba is slowly changing and i don't know if it's for the good or for the bad ^__^;;;;

    Man, even in just the last couple years Akiba has changed so much. It's kind of unfortunate. It's become a lot more touristy.

    These days it seems like all the real otaku action is moving westward, toward Nakano and Tachikawa. :P

    Akiba should somehow become the Vatican/Mecca/Holy City of of all full-pledge Otakus all over the world!!! Here in our country, there's a place called Quiapo and i consider as our Akihabara! Many electronics gadgets and Anime DVDs. But one missing piece is the cute girls wandering around waiting their pictures to be taken!!! XDD

    I think I prefer being stalked by a gorgeous girl rather than hunted. Probably because if she stalks me then she might be a little shy and you know what they say - the deepest water is the calm one... or something like that.
