since your color transfer is from her cloches to her body i think that your suggestion of sealing the rater that the body will work, but you should do it light and with several coats them if the body paint is not as correctly adhered the it might be needed to do it also on the body I recommend a matte varnish.
    I hope that helps.
    greetings.

Ouch, I feel sorry for the other guy, the rub off on yours is almost nothing compared to his. Maybe you can keep the clothes off most of the time, or possibly attach paper or something absorbent on the inner clothes if you don't feel like using thinner.

    I was affraid I would encounter the same problem with my latest figure, but I think kotobukiya found a way around this issue by making it out of clear plastic, and only painting the outside. Though it looks like that review's figure's clothes melted onto it. I'd say just buy another figure. She does look great though. I've wanted Ekidona for a while, but I'll have to wait until I move out for something that ero ^^;

    ???Confused???

Truly sad that the paint comes off and the figure leans...my room would be its natural enemy since it's usually hot, especially in the summer...maybe if they fix it by putting on some sort of finish and re-release it (sorry if I sound weird, but I'm kinda new to this), this would be one to look out for...oh, yea the tissue idea was nice...

Hmm, Danny, maybe you can do like what I do to my Reina & Echidna. Just paste masking tape/any thin tape to the inner part of the clothing (cut them to match the proportion of the clothing).

There I can officially say "nosebleed".
This is the type of figure I like (Do I sounded like a perv' just now? Gomen!).

About the figure rubbing off, you can pretend it is suntan oil...
Hopefully your case is not as dramatic as the guy's you mentioned.

This figure not supposed to be shown in her birthday suit? That's dumb as that kind of accident should not happen. Where is the quality check team when we need them?

Great figure for my favorite character (at least in appearance) in Queen's Blade.

There I can officially say "nosebleed".
This is the type of figure I like (Do I sounded like a perv' just now? Gomen!).

"not supposed to be displayed in her birthday suit" is a lame excuse. if it wasn't, why make it cast-off in the first place? sales gimmick i reckon? but i do say, she's sculpted very nicely. i never got around to get a queen's blade figure. reina, nowa, cormill and ekidona's sculpt wasn't that good IMHO. menace has a nice sculpt but that dopey look on her face is O.o?, lol...

all in all she seems like a good buy danny. hope i can get my hands on her over here. she seems pretty pricey tho. (from the preoder list i got frm my local toy shop)

I don't have any cast off figures, and the figures I have are still on box, so I really don't know about paint transfering and stuff like that.

Ok, I'll be honest. I only have like 5 really small figures (came with Animagazines), and 2 medium sized.

But I can imagine humidity and heat can cause that.
It all depends on the paint job and figure material. Unfortunatelly, for some paint jobs, it's just impossible to use sealants strong enough to endure too much heat and humidity.

Here were I live, in summer days, if I sit for too long on the sofa my skin almost peels off when I stand up... and there are even days that some of the asphault on the street melts... not hard to imagine paint transfering on delicate paint jobs on figures.

Why not just precisely cut some thin clear tape and apply it to the parts that touch the figure? The tape is smooth and if done correctly will be totally hidden!
Please keep in mind that I have not actually tested this method before since i dont own any cast of figures.

BTW Great figure! I liked that tissue paper!

This should solve the painting rubbing off, its thin enough to not interfere with the cast off feature

You could go radical and remove the inside paint, or apply a sealant..

The problem with paint rubbing... With PVC figures, is hard to see, only with time and dust fault. The problem is a real pain with resin kits.

@Danny: I have noticed that you are covering private parts and boobs of the figurines when reviewing. Why are you doing it. It's normal boobs to be seen imho. On the web we can see lots of bare breasts online (on the "normal" websites), magazines tv commercials. It's not considered pornography so why you placing DC emblem on every nudish figurine? Is it against the law in Japan or something? Just curious.

    ???Confused???

Hey Danny I just got this figure and it's my first cast off...any tips on how to cast off the cloths smoothly? I feel like I might tear off her arms when I try to take off the sleeves and it's making me nervous. Thanks in advance...

Or what you could try to prevent the "Paint Transfer" is using thin tissue paper between the clothing and the figure. It will prevent both of them from coming into contact with one another and it will not get in the way of the clothing being able to be put on the figure since it is a very thin barrier.
