Even though I love how this figure looks, I'm not a big fan of Evangelion.. I would love to se a Motoko Kusanagi figure from the same artist though, now that is something I would buy in an instant :)

Rei throws away the old plugsuit and dons a much more sexier suit.

The figure looks realistic and i notice there is slight difference between the figure and the illustration. Kinda blows away the originality, nevertheless a stunning figure.

Beautiful illustration, as usual, but won't buy the figure. To me, she's definitely NOT Rei. Or I should say that I'm really not fond of "re-designed" character, excepted chibi or Super Deformed versions ^^;

Shunya Yamashita can do very little wrong in my opinion. Yes, I'd buy this one (even though it's been out as a kit for a while now).

Honestly, I don't like how this figure of Rei turned out. It just doesn't portray the Rei in the anime. So yeah, thumbs down for me.

Looking forward to getting this one! I just got hooked into Evangelion last year and my little collection mostly composed of Rei Ayanami figures since she's my favorite character. This one looks nice and is awesome for a different rendition of Rei.
