Final Battle

I'm preparing the slides for my presentation at Promax and need your help with the latest results on the never ending battle between 2D and 3D.
The last time we took this poll was in March 2007 - 2D VS 3D results came out with 64% of you preferring warm blooded 3D girls. Wondering if the trend has changed given the increased number of readers?

BTW, the 2D girl is Miyabi from Choco Chip sensei's Prima Stella and the 3D girl is Hiromi who you can see in the Idol Portal.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

This item was posted in the Anime category. You can see more of everything else or subscribe via RSS instead.

I still go with 3D! 2D are somewhat frustrating. You can't own them, caress them, play with them and make them play your dolphin stuff toy. You will just have to be contented with their mere gorgeous look on screen. XDD

I actually voted 2d girls. Reason being that I am a girl myself. So where with 2d girls I like the artwork of anime styling and also the fact that they typically are able to have more interesting hair, eyes (eyes as in face eyes, not lower eyes) and clothes the real people.

3d girls don't interest me at all because I am not a lesbian, so I don't find them attractive or drool worthy, I'm not a fashion follower so I'm not really bothered what they're wearing and because I can go into town and see hundreds of 3d girls any time. Girls are 'normal' to see, anime isn't.

3D because a 2D girl can't do anything for you at all speaking in a strictly sexually way. Sex aside, a 3D girl is REAL so you can talk to her and have many other joyful experiences that don't involve your dolphin. Seems like 3D is an obvious choice to me.

You have to drill in the fact that 2D girls are to be appreciated into the minds of Singaporeans. Many Singaporeans (the general non-otaku public) go 'wut?' if you ask them how they feel about a 2D character.. which makes me kind of sad. 3D girls are aplenty in the world, so you can try to be unique and introduce all the goodness of 2D girls.

I think it's all related to s*x... it's like embedded in our DNA instincts... like if VR and touch senses can be rendered ... 2d may take over one day.... like in chobits how the persocoms are preferred over real human interaction... 2d and persocoms are engineered to be better than 3d... dreams coming true.

Danny, maybe you could have done better if you used a girl cuter than Hiromi as your 3D example?

....sorry, I guess my standards are pretty high...
