Chaos Head

Flicked through the first EP and saw girls with blood and stopped watching as the Higurashi/Nice Boat type anime is not really my thing. Noticed form the comments though that quite a few of you are enjoying this so thought I would hijack to find out more of what you thought.

I have to say this is a completely unexpected series that has shown up high on my watch list.

The protagnist Takumi collects PVC Figures!!! He even says the same things we do:

"Sera-tan Awakened Version; GETTO!"
"I have to hurry home and admire every inch of the paintjob on this PVC."

Serously, couldn't stop laughing ^_^;;

Anyway despite those comedic moments, this is actually a mystery, horror, murder show. Since the main character is so deluded, you don't know what the hell is going on. He seems to have schizophrenic moments, so you have no idea if what was just shown is true or not. Definitely some sort of conspiracy going on.

Is Takumi the murdererer? Or the cute pink-haired girl who he seems to have no memories of, yet there is a photo of them being childhood friends every since middle school??? Seriously no idea, which is why I'm liking this anime so much.

So who else is watching this show this season?
