Japanese Internet

A screenshot of the corporate site for Infobahn who own sites like Gizmodo and Lifehacker in Japan.
Very simple but love the main image depicting a very typical daily scene for salary men in Tokyo.
A few things I wanted to talk about here.
1. Cant remember the name of the idol in the image but I've been wondering (and it has been suggested) whether dannychoo.com also needs a 3D idol too? I'm thinking somebody like Hiromi-chan.
2. Stumbling onto the infobahn site has reminded me that I should really start thinking about the mirai.fm corporate website which currently just redirects to an outline of Mirai Gaia on dannychoo.com. All our clients up until now have come in through people we know or word of mouth so the corporate site design has been a low priority.
Do you know of any particular corporate web designs that I could get inspiration from?
3. The New Context Conference is a web2.0 gathering thats held every year and organized by Joi Ito.
The List of speakers include CEO for Linkedin, Dopplr, iKnow and many others. There will also be a group of folks from Silicon Valley there too who I will be spending the day with prior to the conference.
If you are in the internet field and are interested in learning what others are doing in the web field and network with similar folks then register here - admission is free but seats are limited.
I will be there so see you there if you can make it.
