Tokyo Trains

Half of the train was still in the tunnel. Was stuck inside for about 10 minutes before they opened the doors of the front carriage to let people off. The body went under the train with no traces of blood. Apparently some of these accidents can get really messy. No I wouldnt have taken a photo if there was blood.
Diving in front of a train seems to be a popular way of killing ones self in Japan. The body goes under the train and the limbs are severed. Apparently a line in Sapporo uses rubber tyres to prevent severing which has saved many lives.
Many of the suicides take place before or after work and a high percentage seem to be salary men. The JR Chuo line that runs through Tokyo is famous for having the most suicides.
Back in 2005, a guy killed himself under a train where the 45 minute outage affected 110,000 people. Dont have any info on whether his family was sued for expenses but it is a well known fact that the family has to fork out for cleaning up the mess and compensate for the loss from an outage.
