Now that the feeds are being managed over at Feed Burner, I'm able to bring you updates by email.
Subscribe here or you can do so later by using the new icons in the right column.

Here is a screenshot of the latest updates in my inbox - thought this feature would be ideal for folks who are too busy to visit the site every day.
A few points:-
1. Updates are sent once daily which will contain the previous 24 hours News Items and Articles.
2. HTML only at the moment.
3. Content is exactly as what you see in the feeds.
4. Embedded videos wont show up in many email clients.
5. Replying to the email does not do anything.

Was also wondering how else you browse dccom? I know a few of you browse on the iPhone and thats on the todo list.

Speaking of mail, lately I feel that I've gone back in time to when I was working at Amazon - most of my time seems to be spent replying to mails and in meetings. November is a particularly busy month - many events going on and a few business trips. many new business deals too.
How much time do you spend on email everyday (private and/or work)?

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

This item was posted in the Otaku category. You can see more of everything else or subscribe via RSS instead.

    I've always wondered how much Spam someone like you gets... now I know, a little.
    Also, I have wondered on how you sort through 4k+ mail in your inbox? What do you do to read through/know what to read or what to ignore?

    i don't think i need this since i come everyday and read most of danny's articles and news.

    regarding e-mails, i check my personal inbox twice or more everyday. usually just a couple of mails from figure shops informing me of new pre-orders and and mails from overseas friends which i love to read. ^^;

    as for work, it's funny, everybody seems to love sending e-mails instead of walking over to his/her desk to tell them personally or talk on the phone. and that can be between people sitting near to eachother (or close by)in the same office. lol. ^^;

    Probably be useful if I have to go places with very slow internet like palembang (my home city in Indonesia), so I can use my email to look at news faster ^^

    I think the people who would really benefit from this would also be the people who will fail to read this and hence not reply.

    I don't think I would use this. However it would be nice go get a mail saying "person x replied to your post in topic y" followed by a link to the post. It would be nice to be able to "watch a topic" so you get a mail every time there is a reply (possibly this shouldn't be for every post, but one every 24 hours to avoid too many mails). This would make it way easier to notice if somebody answers a question you asked two months ago.
