I've always wondered how much Spam someone like you gets... now I know, a little.
Also, I have wondered on how you sort through 4k+ mail in your inbox? What do you do to read through/know what to read or what to ignore?

i don't think i need this since i come everyday and read most of danny's articles and news.

regarding e-mails, i check my personal inbox twice or more everyday. usually just a couple of mails from figure shops informing me of new pre-orders and and mails from overseas friends which i love to read. ^^;

as for work, it's funny, everybody seems to love sending e-mails instead of walking over to his/her desk to tell them personally or talk on the phone. and that can be between people sitting near to eachother (or close by)in the same office. lol. ^^;

Well, since I've managed to check everyday thus far I don't need it, but this will come in handy when I go on vacation or something and fall behind. :P

Didnt know that updates from emails was a new feature ^^; I kind of thought RSS updates = Email updates

Probably be useful if I have to go places with very slow internet like palembang (my home city in Indonesia), so I can use my email to look at news faster ^^

I think google reader does a good enough job of keeping track of my unread feeds~

But always nice to have an extra option~ ^^

Can you make a SFW/Text only version of the email feed? I would love to read DC at work during my lunch break, but the ever present panstu and eyes posts aren't exactly work place friendly!

I don't get much emails much, but I do tend to type a lot if there is something I want to reply to. Facebook notifications is another story...

I usually don't spend that much time on email. most of my mail consists of youtube alerts anyway.

Since I'm the email admin/support for my company and I work overtime, it's not unusual for me to spend eight to ten hours dealing with emails (and phone calls) from our clients. A lot of it is i forgot my password can you tell me what it is/make it 1234 (bad password, very bad) or how do I get/send my email.

Don;t like to subscribe for sites i visited regularly(incl DC.com), as i will go to the sites whether there are new n interesting updates or not :3

When I was in the Navy, I would have LOVED this, since we had email, but no internet on the ship. But at home, no need. Rather use the RSS feed and be able to see the comments.

I visit this site regularly enough, so I dont' need to use the feeds.
That would be a nightmare if that much mail ended up in my inbox. I already get annoyed going thru a maximum of 10 a day.

Don't need the e-mail updates, but it's nice to have it...
I know lots of people who don't use RSS readers and likes some convienient way to receive updates.

I always keep my Gmail open, so I don't know how much I spend ONLY on it, but it's not too much. I don't receive that many e-mails, though I do have a yahoo and a hotmail account too.

I reply to customers for a shop, so that takes a little bit of my time each day, but never over an hour... never over 20min in fact. Personal emails probably take up more time for me, but it's scattered all over the day so I'm not sure how long exactly.

I browse dccom on my ipod touch often. I wish the text can be wrapped to the same width as the pictures. That way, I don't need to zoom in to the pictures and zoom out for the text all the time. Anyways...

This is really useful for myself as I find myself subscribing to RSS feeds via email. I don't have the patience anymore to skim through my feed reader with 1000+ unread articles, hehe.

I'll probably just stick with visiting the site. There's too much stuff in my email anway.

Well I don't get much email now and I only check it about once and that's about it...unless I'm expecting something...I usually gets what's latest on DC.com through the RSS feeds, will explore the member articles if I have time and curious on what's new...

My whole job is checking email, talking over the phone, and attending meetings >_>. Such is the corporate life though.

I work in IT support so I have to sift through a lot of e-mails as well, either e-mails regarding user issues or about projects, meetings,...

I think the people who would really benefit from this would also be the people who will fail to read this and hence not reply.

I don't think I would use this. However it would be nice go get a mail saying "person x replied to your post in topic y" followed by a link to the post. It would be nice to be able to "watch a topic" so you get a mail every time there is a reply (possibly this shouldn't be for every post, but one every 24 hours to avoid too many mails). This would make it way easier to notice if somebody answers a question you asked two months ago.

I don't spend much time on e-mail at all! Since the mail I get are usually junk mail... Thank you spammers and virus senders!

Spending not very much time with mail, although Livemail is always running.

i don't really know how it works but from the screenshot, it seems you send us your news but also articles included?

i barely check my email. i prefer people to actually call me or txt me.
But i constantly have my RSS feeds running in a seperate tab in Opera
it's pretty much become my email updater of sorts

I generally find myself using feed aggregators rather than email or any other form of communication; it's the most efficient way to get around as far as I'm concerned.

An iPhone version of the site would be awesome~

I check for e-mails a couple of times a day on my iPhone. This is helpful when I'm on vacation and I don't bring my laptop with me. Now I can view recent news on my iPhone via e-mail and never miss a beat.

Nice feature, but I think pass and continue to use the feeds. I check the reader about 3 times a day and stay up to date that way.

for blogs i use feed reader instead
when communicating with friends use chat or pm
most of my inbox contents are registration emails or order/shipment confirmation emails for online shopping

I spend usually less than an hour most months. However, from about June until about now, mail gets pretty thick (GenCon in August eats up the mail from June on to August. After that, it shifts over to CARP events for the fall, which we have lots of, and prep for UCon.) It's still under an hour, but not by much.

I often visit the site. Even sometimes I just open it in a new page just to have it, like that! It makes me feel more comfortable. As for the e-mail, I check it rarely. Everytime there's spam to delete.

Sweet! This is just the thing that I need coz my mail client is open roughly about 90% of the time when I'm in front of the pc. Now I get to be updated with dccom most especially on weekends.

Lately I'm finding less time to visit DC.com so I like the idea of getting the news item via email.
Also, my workmates can stop peeping on me and asking me why I like this kinda hobby. I tried explaining but they don't listen. T_T

I like this idea as I check my email at all times, on my mobile phone as well XD
I do check the site quite a few time but, when I'm not able to, at least the email notice will keep me updated ^-^

I don't get that much mail. I think it's because I mostly see my friends personally or on comunicators most of the time. As for work I don't have any via e-mail.

Oh I love it! It's kinda what I've been looking for since a long time but guessed you were already working on it and with the amount of msg/spam you get daily it would be pointless to ask :D
