Seeing the Strike Witches wallpaper gallery over at Sankaku Complex (which includes this lovely one of Sanya and Eila) has made me want to watch the entire series again.
I remember enjoying the series so much that I re-watched Sanya's episode while waiting for my comrade to record the latest EP of Strike Witches.

How often do you re-watch anime shows? Are there series which you have watched again and again?

BTW, the OST to Strike Witches is awesome - great for listening to while coding.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

    I used to rewatch anime when I was just getting started - Love Hina holds the record at 6 runs. Mai-HiME/Mai-Otome I ran through thrice each.

    But that was back when I didn't check anime news. Nowadays, I'd mark an anime as rewatch-worthy be never get back to it. Too much new stuff on my list I could be watching instead. ^^;

    I guess I only rewatch anime that I really loved, that being Manabi Straight(Record 8 rewatches), Ichigo Mashimaro, and now, Strike Witches.
    (A couple more I can't name off the top of my head.)
    When I'm waiting for the next release of currently airing anime, rewatching your old favs is fun, and you catch a lot of things you missed before. :3

    As well, rewatching the shows you watched a couple of years ago is always fun. :)

    I usually only re-watch series that I bought on DVD or that I didn't finish watching a longer time ago.

    An exception from this habit is Neon Genesis Evangelion. I don't know exactly how many times I watched that series but it's a two-digit number of times.

    I will re-watch Strike Witches once the uncensored DVD version has been completely released. :)

    I watch quite a lot over and over.

    There are those with great story I like, and those which I just watch for the laugh.

    I've watched NGE many times over now, amongst others. But I'd say I lmit to re-watching about 10 tmes if I really like it. Except for Lucky Star. Which I seem to have been religiously rewatching every month or so.

    Then again there are other which I have watched just once, and thought against watching twice because I thought it would ruin the experience I had first time around. Example of that being Elfen Lied.

    So depends on gengre and quality for me ^__^

    (Infact I rewatched this last couple weeks Naruto a few times already. Good stuff.>__<)

I rewatched coboy bebop, samurai champloo, minami-ke s1, naruto, bleach, hellsing, etc. I also rewatch american show like buffy or alias. Most of the time I prefer to watch stuff all in one go so for most new series I wait until they are complete unless and can't wait until I see the next episode.

    i find that it's good to watch an anime series at least twice cos u might miss out something the first time round. like for example when the series ended, re-watch it again and you might get a better understanding on why the characters do this or that which lead to what happen in the later episodes.

    i re-watch an anime episode 2 to 3 times if i'm writing an anime review. i recently re-watched macross frontier and gundam 00 series 1. currently re-watching CLANNAD. ^^;

    I rarely re-watch anime series. I may occasionally just watch an episode alone or certain parts within an episode.
    The only series which I did re-watch entirely was Evangelion, because I haven't watched it for more than 10 years.

    I usually rewatch my favorite scenes or episode when I feel the nostalgia bug hitting me.

    The Lodoss War OVA, Evangelion and the Ghost in the Shell franchise I tend to watch from beginning to end.

    If you want to re-watch "Strike Witches", perhaps wait for all DVD versions to be out, since they'll be more steamy due to the absence of steam. ^^

    Yes, wonderful wall, I got it yesterday, thanks to your article pointing to Sankaku Complex (which is chockfull of Win). I re-watch anime all the time when it's good.

    Read Or Die OVA+TV holds the record whit 4.5 re-watches so far. For movies FFVII Advent Children and The Adolescence of Utena are in a tie with 4 re-watches so far.

    In fact I'm currently re-watching Code Geass R1.

    Well I mostly rewatch previous episodes of some series while I wait for the newest ones, but there's only one whole series which constantly get back too. It's Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (both seasons). I'm totally in love with the series. Just as I'm in love with all other shows I watched (ie. Spice and Wolf, Haruhi) this one totally pwned my mind and makes me rewatch single episodes, by few per week XD

    It depends on what anime it is. I would watch every anime at least 2 times. After that it depends if I liked the story/characters a lot which will keep me going back to it. For example I have seen Eva like 5-6 times, as well as Macross. GitS I have seen it twice only, and it's a superb series, I just can't find the time to re-watch it again.

    And I deserve a slap, I still haven't gone past Ep.2 of Strike Witches...was watching Macross Frontier. Sheryl is sooo incredibly hot yum yum.
